I am a 37 year old unmarried Danish man with no kids.

I started my training as a future Marine Engineer, right after highschool, on a 5 month course on a seaman´s school in Denmark, followed by a one year course on a workshop school, also in Denmark.

I was during this time offered jobs in different Danish ship companies, but accepted a job offer from Chevron oil tankers.

I sailed worldwide with them for two years, as a mechanic/welder.

I then finished 3 years as Marine Engineer, and again sailed 1 year for Chevron as 3´rd and 2´nd engineer.

I then bough an old house in my hometown and quit my job in Chevron, I renovated the house totally, and when the bank account got empty, applied for a job in a Danish tanker company, called Norden.

I sailed for them for 6 month, where after I decided my time at sea was over. I was supposed to sail as 1´st engineer on my next trip.

I had during these six month, been accepted to participate in a program for Maersk Contractors (A.P. Moeller), now Maersk Drilling, where they hire Marine and Technical engineers and train them to be leaders in their organization.

I then underwent this programme, and worked for them all over the world, in Scotland, England, Denmark, Azerbaijan, Norway, Venezuela and Brunei (Borneo).

I went through all positions on oil drilling rigs, and ended up as Rig Superintendent in the shore base for two brand new rigs in Brunei.

I was here supposed to be Area Manager for Maersk Drilling in Malaysia, by the end of 2008, but after 4 month in Brunei decided to quit because of dissagrement of wages.

I feel that because of my education as a Marine Engineer, and later Rig Superintendent, that I will be a good candidate for any job, you might offer to me.
I am very good at planning and am a very good problem solver, and I do safe work.
Of languages, I am of course fully fluent in my mother tongue, Danish.
I speak, understand and write on high level, English and German.
I speak and understand Swedish and Norwegian.
And after living and working as Assistant Rig Superintendent / Rig Superintendent for 1 ½ years in Venezuela, I also understand, speak and write Spanish, but not totally fluent.
I am at the moment, in process of buying a home in Thailand, and would of course love to worke there, or in the region.
But as I am quite an easy going guy, that would not be too important.
