Work Experience
* Independent Mapping and Data Management Specialist
(February 2005 – Present)
Major Duties: Using Geographix and ArcGIS software: loaded, processed, analyzed, reprojected and produced end products (presentation and work maps, reports, etc.) from 2D and 3D seismic (SEG-Y, ASCII), well logs, production data, and leases. This included proprietary data, as well as private and public domain data from Tobin, Whitestar, Texas Railroad
Commission, Texas GLO, USGS, and others. Also acted as the principal
GIS mapping specialist for a team with in excess of fifty landmen working in multiple basins throughout Texas, Arkansas, North Dakota,
Louisiana, Oklahoma and West Virginia. Developed and rendered detailed land plats across rural and urban areas utilizing ArcGIS suites and
AutoCAD with public and private domain data. Crew chief and crew member for projects throughout the Fort Worth Basin. Tasks included lease checks, mineral title checks, and runsheets.
Accomplishments: Coordinated data projects including fiscal year reserve calculation mapping for engineering department, provided cross sections and seismic montages for G&G department, and built maps detailing leasehold assets for an asset divestiture. Developed in excess of two hundred land plat and land plat derivatives in a twelve month period, often under extremely tight deadline constraints. Acted as crew chief on projects in rural and urban environments including leasing, lease checks, and mineral checks.

(May 1996-August 1997 and May 2002-January 2005)
Major Duties: Landman duties, office administration, financial and organizational duties, record preparation, implementing software and database systems to facilitate office tasks, AutoCAD drafting, and contract management for oil and gas project leases.
Accomplishments: Developed and maintained a new, more advanced lease management system linking multiple offices electronically. Became familiar with the processes and sciences of reading 2-D seismic lines, regional structure maps, and well logs based on certain geological and geophysical understandings.
