Oil / Gas Production Operator

Qualifications
- More than 10 years of oil & gas, petrochemical, processing experience without an OSHA recordable incident
- Have routinely qualified in and safely operated and maintained systems in multiple operating areas of a facility
- Proficient in the use and Safe operation of pneumatic controllers, analog & digital distributive control computerized systems(DCS/SCADA)
- Pride in application of new technologies and contributing to process improvements, quality & safety
- Proficient in Computer skills: Windows office, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Works & various email programs
- Experienced with Maintenance management systems - JDE, S.A.P., EDICS
- Current with NSTC (camp safety, ash book, hazcom, HAZWOPER level 1 PPE, environmental excel, H2S) & CITS safety cards(24CITS, 40 HR HAZWOPER, 16HR PETROCHEM H&S and Confined Space Entry)
- Strong troubleshooting, problem solving skills contributing to correction of process upsets
- I have routinely been a team participant / leader in several projects for improvements, efficiency & employee safety
- instrumental in initial startup of 2 new facilities with 10 different processing plants & 2 tank farms with vapor recovery systems & pipeline systems, including documentation & procedure writing
- Proficient in the operation of multiphase product separation (oil, gas, water) mechanical & electrostatic separator systems that also remove solids with various combinations of each.
- Extensive experience in several Utility systems - potable water, domestic waste, process water treating, steam production & distribution, liquid N2, air & gas distribution & the production & distribution of electrical power, chemical storage & distribution
- Experienced in leadership roles such as; lead operator, step-up & full time foreman/supervisor & major project startup operator
- I have been responsible for the operation & maintenance of systems to protect the surrounding communities & environment from facility generated waste streams – wastewater, gas scrubbers & flare systems & zero discharge facility
- Very experienced in the use and operations of oil processing equipment such as tanks, vessels & pumps to include submersible & multi stage centrifugal and positive displacement pumps that operate from a vacuum to 20,000 psi.
- Very experienced in the use and operations of gas processing equipment such as tanks, vessels & multi stage centrifugal and positive displacement compressors
- Experienced supervisor and crewmember trainer
- Extensive experience in the developing, implementing & improving Sop's, SWP's, P & ID's & safe lockouts
- Skilled in preventative maintenance (PM) procedures and maintenance on major pieces of equipment
- Extensive emergency response & incident command training, confined space, fire, and chemical safety procedures training
- Experienced & trained in environmental permitting, incident investigations, PHA recertification's & PSM documentation
- Sampling and blending products for quality, control

Preventative & Routine Maintenance: Changing lubricating oils in equipment, lubricating / greasing various types of rotating equipment, assisting millwrights with installation, removal or repair of rotating equipment, replacing worn-out or broken drive belts, assisting pipe-fitters with installation or removal of piping, replacing gaskets and leaking fittings, routine general upkeep on vehicles (oil, filters, tires) and a number of other tasks required to safely operate my area of responsibility
