* Under my, supervision the safety staff which included 8-10 technicians working two shifts was able to achieve the million hour plus mile stone of working without a loss time injury.
* This was a multi-phased project which started as a repair from storm damage due to hurricane Rita this took in the 5 units at this facility.
* The safety group took an active part to ensure that each employee was able to work in the safest environment that was available under the conditions that were at hand.
* Oversaw the lock out process for the cooling fans, this involved locking out both the MCC, and the actual fan.
* All of the work on these fans did involve confined space entry procedure along with these I also oversaw confined space entries for the super- heaters.
* Made the sure that all tower entries were NORM tested prior to entry and that all fresh air and breathing air requirements were adhered to.

Over 2,000 homes inspected between the four parishes.
