* Expert in design and implementation of corrosion experiments, which were simulated to the real field to efficiently achieve appropriate valid results.
* Expert in surface characterization techniques including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transition electron microscopy (TEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), Wavelength dispersive spectroscopy (WDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS), and magnetic resonance (MR) techniques.

* Worked as a teaching assistant, supervised 4th year students for their final year design projects.
* Extensive research related to both alloying and corrosion of Cu-Ni alloy.
Technologists Consultant Bureau, Tripoli, Libya (Consultant Engineer)Dec 1993 – Feb 2003
Technologists Consultant Bureau is a national consultant bureau which located in Tripoli/Libya. It was established on 1989, and was focusing on the following sectors: corrosion protection & Control, N.D.T, and failure analysis.
Primary projects included:
* Worked in the bureau to study sulphide stress cracking (SSC) failure for 8" diameter tubes in Sarir Oil Field for The Arabian Golf Oil Company, Oct 2002– Feb 2003.
* Led a group to study a stress corrosion crack failure (SCC) case in a cement factory in Khomos city for The Arabic Cement Company, Feb 2002 – Apr 2002.
* Visited many oil fields for Sirte Oil Company (a company which was initially known as Esso Standard Libya Inc.) twice a month to monitor the potential readings in different metal constructions to avoid any unpredictable corrosion failure. Project in this company included: Monitoring the potential readings for the carbon steel pipe line between Reguba oil field and Marsa El-Brega (Crude Oil Port), monitoring both the potential readings and the effect of adding inhibitors for the carbon steel pipe line between Nasser oil field and Marsa El-Brega, and inspection for welding zones for the pipelines by using NDT, July 1995 - July 2001.
* Project managed a team of three engineers to investigate a damage of a steel pipe which was used to carry the natural gas for Zueitina Oil company (started by Occidental International in 1966, and nationalized in 1986), Apr 2001 - Jun 2001.
* Worked as an engineer in a team supervised by a specialist in food technology to investigate a failure case in a steel drying drum electroplated by chromium in a food factory (Almaamura Food Factory) in Tripoli, Nov 1998 - Dec 1998.
* Joined a group of engineers to investigate the cause of a front tire failure of an ambulance air craft when it was landing in Tripoli airport, Aug 1998 – Dec 1998.
* Project managed for a group of three corrosion engineers to investigate a corrosion problem (pitting corrosion) in the crude oil storage tanks for Sirte Oil Company (a company which was initially known as Esso Standard Libya Inc.) in a location called Marsa el-Brega (a crude oil port located 850 kilometer east of Tripoli), Aug 1998 - Sep 1998.
* Worked as a consultant engineer with other colleges (from Technologists Consultant Bureau) and other civil engineers group (from Al-Bunyan Consultant Bureau) to solve a failure problem which was taking place in the Great Man Made River Project (four thousands kilometers of concrete pipes enforced with steel wires with 4 meters in diameter to carry the fresh water from the Libyan Desert (Sahara) to the cities in the north of the country), May 1996 - July 1996.
* Worked as an engineer to investigate a failure of a T pipe in one of the benzene production units) in Ras Lanuf Refinery (one of the largest refineries in Libya, which is a subsidiary of the National Oil Corporation in Libya, which located about 600 kilometres east of Tripoli), Jan 1995 - Apr 1995.
* Supervised a team of five engineers in Abutafel Oil Field to fix a cathodic protection system for a 1.5 meter diameter fuel pipe system with 13 kilometers destination, May 1994 – Sep 1994.
