RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensures proper operation and process monitoring, evaluation of a 38 Ton per day Air
Separation plant involving a five stage centrifugal compressor, air refrigeration system, purifiers/batteries, air expansion turbines, fractional distillation columns /cold box, cooling water stations, pneumatic valves, safety valves, motor control centers-HT/MV/LV panels, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) used for production.
2. Deriming/Regeneration of Air Expansion Turbines used in production,
Water treatment and backwashing/regeneration of sand/deconcentration filters used in cooling down the industrial machines used for production.
3. Regeneration of liquid Oxygen filters. Monitoring and evaluation of bi-fuel systems to generators.
4. Calculation and conversion of production hourly rates (Oxygen and Nitrogen Liquids).
5. Preventive and corrective maintenance of five stage centrifugal compressor, heat exchangers and cooling systems.
6. Monitors and sustains the respective parameters suitable for plant optimal production.
7. Ensures production targets are met.
8. Liaises with respective team leads (Electrical/Mechanical) with a view to reducing down time of the plant.
9. Ability to interpret the piping and instrumentation diagram incase there is a complication..
10. Ensure all activities are executed without compromising safety.
