2. Sizing of pipes, valves, pump pressure drop calculations.
3. Development of Plot plans, Equipment General Arrangement.
4. Development and approval of Piping General Arrangement Drawings.
5. Approval of piping Isometrics drawings and Bills of Material
6. Tie-ins, hot tapping and stoppling details.
7. Checking and approval of vendor drawings
8. Participating in detail design reviews with PDMS 3D models with Review Realty software.
9. Generation and approval of Bids for Mechanical/ Piping items and evaluation of the same.
10. Generation of Associated Engineering data for Civil, Electrical, Control groups.
10. Piping design to ANSI 31.3, 31.4, 31.8, API RP14E. Completely conversant with various codes such as ASME, ANSI, DIN and BS, NACE codes. Also SHELL stds like DEPs and ERDs etc.
11. Conversant with local regulations like Petroleum rules, OISD, SMPV, IBR.
12. Stress Analysis of Piping Systems using manual and Computer Analysis (e.g. Triflex/Ceaser II for Stress Analysis). Specs for Springs, bellows etc
13. Vendor/Consultant appraisals and evaluation.
14. Cost estimation for engg, materials for proposals.
15. Co-ordination with clients, vendors and contractors.
