Responsibilities:

* Develop initial bill of material, prepare technical layouts and drawings for proposal estimation.
* Prepare Piping Specification for the project based on material, class and rating classification
* Preparing General Arrangement Lay-out in 3D-Modelling, by using CADWorx 3D software
* Preparing Piping isometric drawing based from 3D Model Lay-out, by using ISOGEN
* Preparing material specification & material code and Library for Piping as per project requirement & using Cadworx
* Having good knowledge in 3D modeling
* Produce plot plan, equipment layout and piping plans. Identify technical conflicts in layout design; coordinate with other engineering disciplines on solutions of technical irregularities. Well verse with 3D modelling
* Prepare inputs for civil engineering including identification of rack locations, foundations, access platforms, underground services, pipe supports, structures for elevated equipment and other piping layout requirements.
* Perform layout clash/interface checks, identify conflicts, and take corrective action in coordination with other engineering discipline inputs.
* Issue engineering drawings and layouts for Inter-Discipline Checks (IDC's) coordinate with other engineering discipline in the integration of technical data inputs. Prepare final layouts and drawings integrating inputs provided by other engineering disciplines.
* Prepare material take off's (MTO's), review vendor drawings and ensure vendor specifications are in full compliance with contract requirements.
* Prepare isometric drawings for final layouts and for piping spools fabrication.
* Prepare "As-Built" Drawings (plot plans/equipment lay-outs) following completion of construction activities.
* Ensure conformity of designs and layouts in accordance to Company Engineering procedures and ISO Quality Standards. And archive IDC's, originals, check prints and Master technical drawings in accordance to Company and quality procedures.
* Perform related duties as and when directed by Direct Supervisor.
* Prepare of drawings for piping supports as per given Standards.
* Preparing line lists & valve lists based on process and instrumentation diagrams.
* Preparing Preliminary sketches based on notes, sketches or verbal instruction given by supervisors/Engineers.
* Performing all types of general works and detailed working drawings based on manufacturer's drawings which includes foundations, elevations, profile, section details, site plants, equipment lay-out diagrams, piping layout etc.
* Preparing proposal drawings and isometrics for piping routing for plant change requests, based on instructions given by engineers.
* Prepare PFD's & P&I diagrams, flow diagrams, for process under co-ordination of process engineer.
* Visiting site and taking measurements, and making free hand drawings or field sketches to ensure dimensional and factual of the prepared drawings.
* Preparation of fire and foam rings layouts and isometrics for fire fighting system for storage tanks.
* Preparation of fire fighting system drawings for tanks and loading bays.
* Preparation of General Assembly drawings, Shop Fabrication detail drawings, Part Drawings & List of Materials for process equipment's like Pressure vessels, Storage Tanks (API 650/620), & Evaporators etc.
* Arrangement of structural supports for pipes, platforms for pressure vessels and other applications.
* Prepare CG calculation for Evaporator Block transportation (Modeling part drawings and assemble block wise).
* Preparation of Cutting list & Plate cutting diagrams.

2. From April 1992 to June 2004 worked with Esquire Engineering Solutions Ltd ¡V India as a Sr. Design Engineer. I was handling independently with team of four Draftsman for project at BALCO related to Piping (Developing fabrication pipe spools and pipe support drawings) and Development of manufacturing drawings for fast wearing spares and imported Machineries using Metrology Instruments and CAD software's. (The Equipment range is from Turbines, Cranes, Fork-lifters, ID & FD Fans, Blowers, Burners, Furnace parts, Pumps, Gear boxes, Heavy structures, all kinds of Actuators, Hydraulic Cylinders, Power lifters, Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipments, Seal kits, Piston rods, Pistons etc.) Adequate experience in day-to-day coordination activities, correspondence, Generation and monitoring of various progress documents, monitoring of flow of project related documents. Adequate experience in handling team activities.

3. From April 1990 to January 1992 worked with Tata Davy Ltd ¡V India (For Vizag Steel Plant) as a Piping Draftsman. I was involved in preparing Preliminary MTO, Development of piping layout, Isometric generation, checking of piping arrangement drawings / Isometrics, Development of P & I for various utilities.

4. From Oct. 1989 to March 1990 worked with B H P V Ltd ¡V India as a Piping Draftsman. I was involved in preparing Isometric Drawings from piping GA and prepare pipe support drawings.

5. From May 1989 to August 1989 worked with Dolphin Designs ¡V India as a Draftsman. I was involved in Develop drawings through reference drawings. Preparation of as-build drawings, fabrication drawings, detailed bill of quantities for various Equipments like Pressure vessels, Storage Tank and Heat Exchangers.

6. From May 1988 to April 1989 worked with Suhasini Technical Services ¡V India as a Draftsman. I was involved in Develop drawings through reference drawings. Preparation of as-build drawings, fabrication drawings, detailed bill of quantities for various Equipments like Pressure vessels, Storage Tank and Heat Exchangers.
