From 1994 to present
In the position of managing director of SC UIS srl, I worked in consulting and engineering projects for oil and gas industry, such as:
* Well drilling design;
* Drilling and workover consultancy and supervisory for various companies: Petrom, Hemco, Carpathian Energy;
* "Romanian oil products market" a marketing study – for the client Petrom-National Oil Company;
* PHARE Project 586.04.08.04- "Technical and Economic Study for Transit Pipeline in Romania", for the Ministry of Industry and Resources. My position was "in-land coordinator". The project was coordinated by Hill International (UK);
* Several environmental studies and documentation for oil and gas wells.
* Well site workover supervisor, working with local contractors crews. Performed heavy duty workover operations: drill out cement and old bridge plugs or packers, isolation existing perforations, cased hole logging, setting bridge plugs and packers, all types of cementing jobs, completion and re-completion, changing THS, fishing jobs production tests, swabbing, nitrogen operations acid squeezing jobs.
* Revise workover programs, prepare programs for new completions and Re-completions and supervising most of different operations as well as workover operations.

DRILL-SITE MANAGER IN MURZUQ BASIN-LIBYA
1991-1994
* From the year 1991 I have worked for Rompetrol Company in Libya, in the Sahara desert where they drill over 70 production oil wells –Murzuq Basin.
* I Supervised Drilling and Workover operations on 3 drilling land rigs and 3 work-over rigs.
* During this period I was working in all drilling operations including running casing, cementing casing, oil based mud, cased and open hole logging, coring, drillstem test (DST), production tests, side tracking using Downhole Mud Motor (Navidrill).

DRILLING MANAGER
1989-1991
* I was responsible for the day-to-day on Site planning and execution of drilling, activities, maintaining maximum HSE and operational efficiency, at maximum value in terms of cost versus benefits.

I was responsible for implementation of all the company's policies, procedures and guidelines on drilling operations, safety and environment protection.
*
Supervises the drilling supervisors and contractors and services personnel to ensure all work performed according to safety, quality and highest value requirements and in accordance with the well program.
*
Ensure that the drilling operation is conducted in the most cost effective manner. Drilling production and exploratory wells, well testing and stimulation, open and cased hole completions, basic fishing operations, running long string of casing, cementing with multistage tools, running and cementing any size casing, and oil base muds.Responsible for site supervision of 16 drilling and well service activity.

* Performed heavy duty drilling and workover operations: drill out cement and old bridge plugs or packers, isolation existing perforations, cased and open hole logging, running in hole with ESP pumps, setting bridge plugs and packers, all types of cementing jobs, completion and re-completion, side track the wells, drilling long and short radius section hole and horizontal section hole, running liners and filters in open horizontal hole, drilling radius wells using directional drilling equipment, and fishing jobs.

* Development drilling, deep high angle wells with 5" liner completions and multi-packer completions.
* Extensive workover operations involving packer milling, tubing milling and fishing washing over etc.
* CaBr workover fluid.
* Responsible for Well Service activity; well kill, scale mill out, setting cement plugs, HF acid wash;
* Managed vigorous safety policy, conducting regular safety meetings;
* All positions: starting tool pusher until drilling manager (3 years);
DRILLING SUPERINTENDENT

1985-1988

* Drilling a 5570 m deep exploratory well (drilling, completion and workover) in Vrancea (East-Romania), which is area with most of seismic activity.
* I was working the day to day operation of Romanian Drilling Rig F-400 DH 4000 HP and all associated rig equipment on drilling operations. During this period I was working in drilling operations including running casing, cementing casing and production tests, logging, coring.
* During this yers I had to work closely with the National Oil Company staff and The National Institute of Research and Development for Earth Physics engineering staff.

DRILLING SUPERVISOR
1983-1985

* Well site drilling - workover foreman(consultant) for PETROM, working with local and contractors crews using various drilling rigs (rotary systems). Performed heavy duty drilling and workover operations: drill out cement and old bridge plugs or packers, isolation existing perforations, cased and open hole logging, running in hole with ESP pumps, setting bridge plugs and packers, all types of cementing jobs, completion and re-completion, side track the wells, drilling long and short radius section hole and horizontal section hole, running liners and filters in open horizontal hole, drilling radius wells using directional drilling equipment, and fishing jobs.

TOOLPUSHER ON DRILLING AND WORKOVER RIG
1981-1983
* Working as day toolpusher implementing and directly working operations within Petrom. The wells are predominately 800-3200m. Operations directly working included Fishing 6 5/8" BHA from 3500 m, casing and liner running and cementing( incl. multi –stages) operations, perforating and production tests, and completion.
* Also during this period I perform drilling and workover programs which includes various types of wells (flow, SRP, gas-lift) and operations as well.
* I has worked with single production tubing, all types of packers (mechanic and hydraulic ), subsurface safety valves and other equipment ( nipples, sliding sleeves, etc.).
* Working as toolpusher reporting directly to the Supervisor. This position included assisting the Supervisor, analysing the performance during all phases of the operation and writing detailed technical reports as required.
