SUMMARY:
As an engineering executive, over 30 years passed with the experience in positions of increasing responsibility in major facilities, for manufacturing and trading business. Including facility design, facility improvements and design innovations. Fully capable of effective management of large corporate engineering function in the design, installation and start-up of metal fabrication and assembly plants, including management and training of the team workers.

MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Engineering Management:

* Managed 8 years $ one million per year, scrap preparation & ship demolishing plant in Aliaða as site manager with fully responsibility with working team around 50 persons. Including maintenance and operation of crawler cranes (160 m tons) for demolishing the vessels, processing several metals and equipment, preparing for sale and selling operations of all metal scrap and second hand equipments were managed.
* Reported to the general manager, manufacturing with fully responsibility for 1000 employee, $ 200 million annual steel billet production was managed. Also department of steel billet production with 20 metallurgical engineers and 300 steelmaker technicians in running of, the first two years 2, in the next two years 4 electric arc furnaces and 4 continuous casting machines with totally 20 strands were directed. Also customer complains with respect to both metallurgical and non-metallurgical process deviations were handled on all over the world.

Technologies:

* As a process design engineer, starting with material selection for different purposes, designing heating or cooling equipments, especially different type of heat exchangers, chemical reactors, mixers, pressure vessels according to the several code and standards for chemical process industry with piping arrangements with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum or any other non-ferrous material, different water treatment systems were designed and/or manufactured.
* As a site-erection chief engineer, fabrication and assembly of heavy steel constructions, installations of electric arc furnaces, continuous casting machines, cryogenic oxygen and nitrogen production plants and several quality of piping operations were managed with fully responsibility.
* Engineering capability and knowledge for using several industrial standards as, ASME Pressure Vessel Code Section 2, 8 Div.1, 9. TEMA, and API 660, Materials for several world standards as AISI, SAE, or ASME. Welding techniques as, MIG, TIG (WIG), DC Arc, and Submerged Arc for pressure vessel fabrication or steel construction. Good experience of mechanical workshop facilities.

* As a general manager, importing or buying of several chemicals from manufacturers or from representatives domestically and selling operations, consulting engineer in and around Izmir city, managed successfully for over 20 years.
