Shell and tube heat exchanger
A shell and tube heat exchanger is a class of heat exchanger designs. It is the most common type of heat exchanger in oil refineries and other large chemical processes, and is suited for higher-pressure applications. As its name implies, this type of heat exchanger consists of a shell (a large pressure vessel) with a bundle of tubes inside it. One fluid runs through the tubes, and another fluid flows over the tubes (through the shell) to transfer heat between the two fluids. The set of tubes is called a tube bundle, and may be composed by several types of tubes: plain, longitudinally finned, etc.

JOB EXECUTION SUMMARY FOR DEMO VESSEL FOR ME ENERGY PVT LTD
ME Energy pvt Ltd is one of the leading energy systems and equipments supplier in India. It is a Pune based company started on 1999 and supplied number of boiler systems, hot water generating sytems,Heat recovery systems,Thermic fluid systems and shell and tube heat exchanges, pressure vessels,rdiators,Reboilers etc.Company got ASME accreditation with U and R stamp in 2008.
Demo vessel is a simple vessel made according to ASME procedure for getting ASME accreditation. The enquiry is came from Marketing Dept to Design Dept and verified by the me and found that the given data for the vessel was insuffcient.I made the NCR and sent to Marketing Dept and get clarified from our internal customer (Marketing Dept).After cleared the NCR, I had prepared the manual design calculation in MS Office Word, material data sheet s and verified the drawings and get approved from the Authorised inspector. The approved documents are stamped with ASME control copy and released to project department. Vessel is manufactured according to Section VIII and IX and inspected by the authorised inspector and ASME auditor. I was interviewed by the ASME auditor. After the final inspection of longitudinal and circumferential wed joint and MDR, he approved the shop for ASME jobs for unfired systems under Section VIII (U stamp).ME Energy had appointed the third party inspector from OneBeacon America Insurance Company, Lynn, MA.
