Senior Drilling Engineer
FEED Engineer on the Gulf of Mexico Pony Deep Water Development Project. Design and planning in the Pony field; 3,400ft water depth, up to 35,000ft MD wells, 9 casing strings, multi-zone completions. Lead drilling engineer on partner projects such as Shenzi, and Tubular Bells.
* Performed probabilistic and deterministic cost estimates for a 10 well field development, and benchmarked against similar projects.
* Monitored the development and modification of existing 7" liner hanger system for 10k pressure requirements.
* Reviewed the cement slurry designs for narrow margin casing annular cement placement.
* Realized and documented the potential of over $1 million in savings for the optimal well center placement plan.
* Risk assessed the well design and operations plans including SIMOP's.
* Captured lessons learned from partner operations on similar deep-water GoM well programs.

Operations Engineer on the Okume Complex Project located in Equatorial Guinea and based in Houston. Designed, evaluated, reviewed, and implemented drilling programs on the Jack-up drilling rig (207ft WD and up to 5,250ft MD wells) and the Semi-Submersible Tender Assist rig (685ft WD and up to 10,500ft MD).
* Saved over $1.5 million for the 3 rig project by managing the directional services contract.
* Achieved first oil on time and on budget after first spud along with the Hess outstanding Leadership award for Safety Excellence.
* Implemented a new process of a multi-discipline risk assessment prior to spud of every well.
