POSITION: Senior Piping Designer / Checker
Smart Plant Review, AutoCAD, MicroStation Designer.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Thirty-five years of detail design / checking in the petrochemical / refinery and fertilizer engineering field. Piping work includes preparing detail design drawings, punch list during construction, material take offs, labor cost estimates, manpower estimated, developing P&ID drawings. I worked as a field piping engineer on new construction and turnaround projects. I was a Lead Piping Designer / coordinator on ExxonMobil Chemical projects. I also checked detail piping drawings and shop spool drawings for dimensional accuracy and compliance with client standards and specifications. I've drawn piping Iso's for stress analysis and checked 3D Iso's.
PROJECTS INCLUDED: Pipe rack layouts, high-pressure pump piping, tower and reboiler piping, glass lined piping systems, TFE lined piping systems. Dock layouts, tank farm design / layouts, hot & cold pump piping, boiler steam and condense systems. Worked with stainless and zirconium piping. I have checked modular cryogenic gas plant and also checked PDS Iso's.
