Installation, testing and commissioning of Re distillation (Piping and Equipments) of ethylene gas.

Project: (Takreer) Abu Dhabi Refinery Division (Shutdown maintenance)

Worked in Abu Dhabi Refinery (Takreer) United Arab Emirates for shutdown maintenance of Columns, Reactors, vessels, Crude tower, heat exchangers, and behalf of Descon Engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* As Area Engineer, Organized Resources, Assigned Supervisors And Distributed Manpower According To Job Priorities Keeping Efficient Job Practices And Maintaining High Quality and Safety Standards.
* Responsible for the Maintenance of Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Quench tower, columns, Dismantling for maintenance and reinstallation of valves, PSVs, NRVs. Hydro test and Nitrogen Test of Equipments (Pipes/ Heat Exchangers). Replacement of Demisters and internals of Vessels.
* Coordination with electrical, safety dept & Quality control dept.
* Prepare to necessary documentation required for pre shutdown activity.
* Distributing manpower according to job priority and achieving progress by efficient deployment, quality.
* Preliminary inspection / mechanical cleaning of equipments.
* Witnessing hydro testing as per approved procedures, drawing & hold point.
* Before box up check the all activities have been done.
* Coordination with subcontractors for cleaning of heat exchangers, sand blasting and painting etc.

2.M/s.National contracting Co. Ltd. (Power projects division-EPC). Saudi Arabia

Dy.Manager (Power projects) in National contracting co ltd (Saudi Arabia).
Erection, Testing and commissioning of (60-80 MW) gas turbines and balance of the plant with Saudi Electricity Company (Tabuk).

1. Periodical review with subcontractors/vendors for meeting the agreed contractual schedules and the quality requirements.
2. Analyze contractor's schedules and compare with project master schedule as to identify critical path and to take appropriate corrective measure in case of deviation monitor and deliver project progress report as a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
3. Verification /inspection for the suitability of the material receipts in co-ordination with subcontractor materials group.
4. To appraise, discuss and review with Project Manager on regular basis on issues related to the project in all areas.
5. To coordinate with client in obtaining certification of work periodically.
6. Train the project engineers for implementation of quality Management system &guide them during project execution.
7. Monitoring material receiving inspection, piping, Tie-in point piping, tanks, fit up inspection, visual weld inspection, pressure test inspection, lines flushing witness inspection prior and after test.
8. Monitoring material inspection (Inlet, exhaust stack of turbines, HVAC material and fire fighting material) with consultant, stage vise installation inspection, Follow up installation, pre-commissioning check list, commissioning and handover the project as per scope.
9. Clearing the punch list from the client/consultant.

3.Hindustan Fluorocarbons Ltd. From May '93 to July 2007
Joined as Mechanical engineer in a project stage, after 5 years promoted Asst.Manager (mechanical) and relieved as Dy.Manager (mechanical).

A Petrochemical Plant set up in technical collaboration with M/s. ATOCHEM, France to manufacture PTFE. The company is incorporated with continuous and batches process for production of CFM 22, TFE & Polymerization of PTFE.

Lead the dept with 2 Asst.Managers, 4 mechanical engineer, 24 technicians and Utility operators-16(Refrigeration operators-8, Boiler operators-4, Dm plant operator's-4) and reporting to Manager (ES).

Having experience in piping & equipments installation, testing and commissioning of petrochemical plants. Maintenance of major overhauling, modifications, failure analysis condition monitoring, commissioning, startup, performance, specification evaluation, Critical parts planning.

In project stage I am looking after the pre-commissioning activities; start up activities of piping and equipments of utilities (Ref.system, Boiler, Dm plant, Air compressor, pumps etc) and heat exchangers, columns, Reactors, Hot and Cold insulation.
