Senior Admin & Logistics specialist, Egyptian LNG, July 2004 to date.

Highlights
Held office as Logistics Manager in the absence of the Manager and authorized to sign off funds with a limit of $100.000 USD.

Current responsibility
* Spearheading the execution of activities related to logistics, shipments, transportation and contracts management. Monitoring quality, cost and efficiency of the movement of supplies while reporting on the same to the support services manager.
* Marshaling a team of 6 seniors and 200+ junior staff to process daily activities of accounting and materials movements. Providing regular training.
* Coordinating laterally with departmental staff and horizontally with corporate management for catering to their supply requirements, services requisitions, purchase of facilities and shipments progress.
* Networking with local suppliers for placing orders. Following up on supplies whilst ensuring strict adherence to agreed terms.
* Supervising the plant export / import order fulfillment, issuing feed gas invoices, and sanctioning local & foreign shipment documentation, and investment declarations.
* Managing claims and reclaims of sales tax paid for to the tax authority for logistics services. Verifying payments and coordinating transactions while ensuring accurate recording of the same.
* Handling formalities through constant communication with freight forwarder, customs broker, general authority for investment and free zones, government authority, port security and sales tax authority.
* Involving in operating inbuilt system for handling and managing information of logistics, supplies and sales tax exemptions. Generating reports for the support manager for final validation.
* Maintaining a safe operated work environment, ensuring all personnel adhere to safety procedures, reporting hazardous incidents to the QHSE advisor. Attending weekly site walk down and monthly fire drill.
* Responsible for administrative functions including issuing of expatriates work authorization, and insurance renewal.

Contracts management
* Coordinating and managing the commercial, logistical, and administrative aspects of the support services contracts-transportation, pest control, community development, office cleaning, and customs broker.
* Organizing subcontractor and contractors purchase orders and facilitated the preparation and negotiation of payment requisitions.
* Inspecting buildings to guarantee maintenance. Monitoring quality standards and safety measures on the site as well as subcontractors safety performance. Ensuring commitment of contractors to HSE programs.
* Focusing primarily on directing work operation of subcontractors, allocating and permitting work in addition to following up on progress. Catering to their requirements and complaints.
* Performing contractual review, analyzing contracts for content, definition of outstanding matters, verifying invoices, and time sheet, compiling and submitting reports.
* Ensuring incoming requisitions are processed in an efficient manner, driving contract performance and obligation, maintaining site wise control plans and ensuring conforming to policies.
* Updating and maintaining database of the department as well as keeping records of subcontractors.

Overall Previous Responsibilities:
* Handled shipment of construction operations in the free zone, coordinated with Bechtel contractor regarding materials and equipments supplies, inspected, reviewed and sanctioned the same.
* Tracked up coming shipment deliveries and liaised with custom broker, shipping lines and freight forwarders on the same. Updated the support services manager accordingly.
* Worked in close liaison with contractors and subcontractors, provided necessary support in terms of facilities exportation, and documents support to streamline operations.
* Accountable for the insurance policies renewal, payment, medical claims and reimbursement follow ups for the personnel. Reviewed, negotiated and validated the same accordingly.
