Technical Skills:
Excellent experience in using a variety of CAD packages such as AutoCAD, SolidEdge, and CATIA V5 R18 with competence in drawing of general arrangements and fabrication and highly proficient in designing and drafting of curtain wall systems, atrium/overhead glazing, structural glazing including unitised and sticks systems.

Good knowledge on Total Quality Management and Reliability (inclusive of ISOs), also proficient with the SPC (6 Sigma tool).

Competent with wind loading (BS6399) calculations on the buildings, code of practice for design and installation of sloping and vertical patent glazing (BS5116) and also proficient with BS5950 and BS8118

Design for Manufacture (DFM) including setting objectives, function definition (value Engineering and value analysis) conceptual design, evaluation and selection, and translation to design.

Exceptional knowledge of material properties and experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) packages including ANSYS and Robobat used in structural simulation of steelwork, for structural stiffness analysis and strength visualizations.

Highly proficient in using several Lean Manufacturing tools & techniques, such as Value stream mapping, 5S principles, Visual control Systems, Kanban systems, SMED, Pull system based on JIT. Avoiding Waste and adding value to customer requirement.
