Experience: Forty-one years, thirty-six of which have been international.

October 2008 to May 2009 Operations manager for Premium Drilling managing the Deep Driller 1 high spec jack up off the east coast of India.

October 2006 to September 2008 Operations Manager for Pride International in Malongo, Cabinda, Angola. Managed all of Pride operations in Cabinda, consisting of the jack up Pride Cabinda, tender-assisted platform rig Alligator, and moored semisubmersible Pride Venezuela, and all shore based support facilities.

September 2004 to October 2006. Shore based rig manager for Pride International in Brazil. Managed a dynamically positioned semisubmersible rig Pride South America in up to 1000 meters of water. Conducted 5 year special periodic survey in a shipyard during this time.

January 2001 to September 2004. Operations manager for Pride International. Refurbished the jack up Pride Montana in a shipyard in Texas. Transported the rig to Saudi Arabia. Managed all of Pride's operations in Saudi Arabia, which consisted of the Pride Montana jack up and all its support facilities.

October 1996 to December 2000. Drilling supervisor for F. J. Brown & Associates. Supervised drilling of high angle development wells in Cote d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Angola, Nigeria, and Poland. Worked on jack up, semisubmersible and land rigs.

January 1995 to October 1996. Drilling supervisor for Triton Engineering. Supervised drilling turnkey wells in the Gulf of Mexico, Venezuela, and Trinidad. Worked on jack up rigs.

July 1977 to December 1994. Santa Fe International Corporation. Started as a driller on a semisubmersible in Trinidad. Promoted to Senior Drilling Foreman (OIM) in November 1980. Worked on semisubmersibles, jack ups and land rigs. Worked in the United States, Trinidad, Ireland, Scotland, England, Holland, Morocco, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. While working for Santa Fe, I helped with the construction and rig up of the of the semsubmersibles Choctaw I, Santa Fe 135, and Santa Fe 140. Carried out shipyard repairs of the jack up Santa Fe 127 after it was severely damaged by a typhoon in the South China Sea.

1976 to 1977. Worked as a driller on a drillship for Atwood Oceanics in Papua New Guinea.

1975 to 1976. Worked as a driller on a drillship for Global Marine.

1974 to 1975. Worked as a driller for ODECO on a drillship in Brazil.

1974 to 1974. Worked as a driller for Key Drilling building a jack up in Scotland.

1970 to 1974. Worked for Rowan Drilling Company on a barge rig in the Gulf of Mexico. First went overseas as a derrickman on a jack-up rig in Venezuela in 1972. Promoted to driller in 1973.

1968 to 1969. Worked for Mayronne Drilling as a derrickman. Helped with the construction of an inland barge rig.

1967 to 1968. Started as a roughneck on a land rig right out of high school.

Certificates: I have valid survival, firefighting, HUET, H2S, and IWCF supervisor level surface and subsea well control certificates. However, due to the length of time I spent in a shore based position, my OIM license has expired.

Personal: Married for 40 years to my high school sweetheart. We are raising our granddaughter, who is 14 years old. I am willing to relocate to a secure country that has a good school for my granddaughter.
