Nature of work
* Allocation of„« accommodation to Company staff, maintaining a computer record that explains occupancy and reserve accommodation multi cultural environment. Ideally supervising a range of camp / accommodation service facilities and develop strong operational qualities. Ability to handle and provide high quality functional camp / accommodation services to approximately 650 occupants / residents comprising of 4 different nationalities.
* Primarily support the„« various project and personal welfare, HSE, security and logistics, catering, accommodation, camp planning and maintenance operation.
* The Camp In-Charge will be a strong organizer, motivator and„« problem solver, and be conversant with the demands and requirements of a multi living environment. I have managed a range of camp services facilities and developed strong operational qualities. Ability to meet the demands of providing high quality functional camp / accommodation services to approximately 650 occupants / residents comprising of different cultural backgrounds/ multinational staff.
* Program the camp development and early planning, to meet„« project requirements. Support, recommendations and advice to management on„« camp services, facility upgrades, improvements and operation requirements. Assuring the compliance of company rules and regulation, legal requirements and local laws. Special attention to the Rig Catering Services. Monitoring steward the Catering Service and Maintenance contracts. Ensuring contract compliance, reviewing performance, planning work activities. Monitoring the services and performance, evaluating and reporting. Maintain update room allocation details, arrange room for the new joiners and ensure cleanliness & hygiene and maintained all times.
* Maintain logbook register and„« monitor the movement of people to and from the camp to ensure discipline and prevent any acts of misconduct. Carry out all maintenance requested on time to facilitate a better & proper use of all facilities and common areas and schedule individual housekeeping services with a view to maintain safe and healthy environment. Survey the premises and carry out preventive„« maintenance, periodically, to ensure that company's health and safety policies are followed, housekeeping standard are maintained so as to preserve a good safe and healthy environment. Procure necessary materials required and also„« liaise with site management to obtained approval.
* Explain in formal way the„« camp rules and regulations to the new arrivals and record their acceptance. Daily mustering and allocation of duties to the maintenance staff. Maintain computerized time sheets for these staff. Carry out inspections of accommodation rooms for janitorial services, cleaning standards, housekeeping and general hygiene. Advise the maintenance staff during daily briefing. Check the turnout of catering staff, quality of food, storage of food items, cleaning and housekeeping standards of food storage and dining halls. Advise catering foreman and maintenance staff accordingly.
* Make a computerized fire plan and position the first aid fire fighting equipments according to the plan. Periodic inspection of these equipments and dealing with vendor, if required.
* Dealing with respective vendors for supply of certified portable water, sewage clearance, Skip etc.
* Scrutinize the suggestions/complaints raised„« by the camp residents. Try and sort out if within the scope or project/follow up the problem with the management, if required.
* Participation in periodic walkthrough„« with HSE staff and Paramedic and take a note of points for necessary corrective action.
* Manage the transportation for the staff as per the established„« transportation schedule to the nearest main city and back to the camp. Provide emergency transportation for taking patients to hospital, departures/arrivals to and from the airport etc. Liaise with Personnel and Finance department„« during vacation/departure of the employee.
* Supply and record keeping of„« living items such as blankets, soaps, glasses, pillows, beds sheets, towels etc to the camp residents. Ensure discipline and timings in recreation„« rooms.
* Conduct mess meetings involving management and employees to discuss„« the important issues directly with the management. Advise management the„« areas that need attention and improvement.
* Conducting surprise checks for„« ensuring alertness by camp security staff.
If Garden in the camp, supervise„« gardening work in the camp. Suggest the gardening staff for any improvements.
* Display of transport schedule, camp rules and regulations,„« management notices, HSE posters, medical bulletins, weekly menus on notice boards.
* Conduct sports activities as per planned schedule. Plan the tours„« for the employees as per management policies.
* Allocation of accommodation„« to company staff maintaining a computer system(ERP) as well as manual that explains occupancy and reserve.
* Explain in formal way Camp Rules and Regulation to the new arrival and record their acceptance. Camp Rule & Regulation are printed for information. Daily mustering and allocation of duties to the maintenance staff. Maintain computerized time sheet for these staff.
