Senior Geologist, Tukau Team: Brown field development planning. Mature field with multiple phases of development. Review/reinterpretation of G&G data, updated volumetrics based on production. Assessed by-passed oil opportunities. Identified targets in multiple zones and fault blocks. Designed well trajectories, zone re-completions and sidetracks. Liased closely with RE to develop a comprehensive phased development based on re-completions, sidetracks, and dual string productions. Technical presentations and worksessions with partners.

G&G Team Lead and Operations Geologist for the Kinabalu (Green field) Project Team.
i) Reservoir Modeling: Completed multiple static models for Kinabalu Fields in Petrel using data from several sources. Stratigraphic well correlations, structural model building, facies modelling (SIS), porosity modelling (SGS) and permeability transforms creation/analysis. Sw modelling using supplied J Functions. Reserves assessments and uncertainty / sensitivity analysis of multiple attributes/realisations including structure, facies, porosity, Sw, contacts, CGR, and FVF. Model upscaling and delivery/liasing to/with RE. Iterative process of static model adjustments and dynamic model adjustments for enhanced history matching.

ii) Field Development Planning: Target identification, & liasing with RE. Development planning scenarios, iterative well(s) trajectory designs & slots, platform placements. Geology/Modeling FDP documentation & coordination of all G&G documentation. Multiple technical & FDP presentations to Senior Management.

iii) Operations Geology: Operations geologist for Petronas' first HPHT well in offshore Sabah. Included initial well targets selection, well design adjustments, 24/7 well monitoring (Slb - Interact), formation top picking, assisting in casing point selections, sidetrack decisions, and successfully picking 3 major reservoir core points for over 300' of core. A principal member of the multidisciplinary team involved in decision making during well operations. Assessing E&D implications on drilling decisions through liasing with multiple Team members including Drilling & RE depts., and service companies. Managing coring processes, selection, procedures, responsibilities, contracts, and coordinating logistics of rig G&G personnel. Updating Senior Management on well progress and implications on Field Development.

I have also been involved in a number of other development projects on a 'consulting basis'. Assisting Junior staff during their modelling processes, field development well placement and design, and assisting in team dynamics by way of ensuring enhanced integration of data and disciplines.
