CURRENT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assume custodianship of MLNG-2 Warehouse and MLNG's Shutdown/Turnaround spares to ensure the materials are properly stored, correctly tagged and preserve to ensure availability of the correct materials at all times whenever required for Plant Operations. To process issuance of materials in the respective Warehouse/Stores. To take precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss.
1. Administer housekeeping, logistic, transportation, materials preservation, building maintenance for warehouse and warehouse assets to ensure safety working environment.
2. Execute and handle Shutdown Materials (Warehouse) by tagging, segregating, recording and issuing materials for shutdown to ensure the availability of the materials for shutdown to ensure the availability of the materials for shutdown planned works.
Compile and initiate uncollected surplus materials return after completion of shutdown works.
3. Prepare documentation of bin/put away stock, reorder on request or project materials
(stored in their respective Warehouse) and direct charge materials (for temporary storage) into their respective bin locations to eliminate stock discrepancies and to ensure that materials are available for issuing.
4. Issue stock, reorder on request, projects, plant changes and direct charge materials (for temporary storage) against authorized hardcopy reservations and requests respectively to fulfill end users' requirement for plant maintenance.
5. Initiate and take proactive/remedial actions with regards to the proper, neat and safe storekeeping of materials as well as striving to maintain and improve all the time a safe and conducive working environment in the Receiving and Storage areas. Adherence to
MLNG HSE, statutory requirements and 5S standards practitioners.
6. Plan, organize and supervise the preservation activities on materials including re-
tagging, repacking, re-labeling, visual inspection and application of antirust compound and to ensure the materials stored are fit for use when required.
7. Plan, arrange and coordinate transportation facilities i.e. trailer, forklift or lorry to deliver bulky materials such as lube oils, gases and chemicals to the Plant Site
(MLNG-1, MLNG-2, MLNG-3, Terminal/Offsite and LPG).
8. Prepare Permit To Work (Clearance Certificate and Hazard Permit) for delivery of chemicals, gases and lube oil to manufacturing arrears.
9. Support Plant safety and production by being involved in the Standby Plant Duty roster to ensure continuous service and availability of materials at odd hours.
10. Analyze, verify and investigate material movement history in the system (SAP R/3)
and rectify stock check discrepancies to enable the write-on/write-off adjustments be posted within the period set to ensure consistent record between physical and system.
