Responsibilities
* Manage the execution of Construction, Maintenance activities, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning, Handover, delivery of projects on time, within budget and close-out of engineering projects.
* Initiate, develop project Scope of Work SOW, Project Plan, Verifies the availability of Project Resources, Quality Plan, Risk Plan,, execute and close projects properly.
* Manage time, cost, quality, change, risk and issues.
* Manage staff, customer and contract suppliers.
* Setting-up a project team.
* Ensuring strict compliance with safety procedure, work permit procedure.
* Updating checklists periodically for Safety Audit.
* Maintain records for the future/past shutdown job.
* Start up & Shutdown activities, normal operation control, operation trouble shooting and maintenance activities.
* Taking regular rounds of unit to ensure safe operation of the unit.
* Directs and monitors construction/maintenance performance. Coordinates in preparation, maintenance and changes on construction schedules, methods, staffing charts and equipment requirements.
* Actively pursue the evaluation and application of new technology in order to optimize future developments in terms of cost and operability.
* Responsible, Provides expert technical advice, Acts as the focal point in consolidating specialist operations based sub-contract and vendors, input from process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, structural, and construction engineers on matters pertaining to development of complete Project Scopes.
* Accountable to manage updating engineering drawings, standards, specifications, manual and data books. Plans and evaluates construction/maintenance activities, including organization, administration, and schedules; verifies the availability of project resources and directs and monitors construction/maintenance performance.
* Coordinate in Front-end design, Detailed design, Procurement
* Concept definition, detailed design of Inter and Intra field pipelines. GRE pipelines & Main pipeline infrastructure (Main Oil Line, South Oman Gas Line, SR-SUR Gas Line), Power station.
* Plant modifications, plant re-vamps the erection and dismantling of equipment and pipe work.
* Erection dismantling/repair of Storage Tanks, Vessels, alterations, modifications, additions to equipment and systems upgrades, recommends appropriate solutions, de-bottlenecking, integrity, change proposal.
* All associated electrical and instrumentation works required facilitating Shell/PDO's operations.
* Maintenance (preventive and corrective) for all Shell/PDO facilities, in conjunction with PDO maintenance teams including maintenance of all rotating/static equipments, Compressors, Arrangement in Pressure Testing, Pumps, Beam Pumps, PCP Pumps, Generators, Installation of Relief valve, Control valves, Exchangers, filters, flares, Vessels, storage tanks integrity.
* maintenance of BOP and Wellhead Components, Manage in Repair and Installation of Cathodic Protection,
* Ad-hoc Civil Maintenance & Infrastructure works
* Highlight issues that may arise in priorities, workload, competency, etc. Reporting progress of projects. Ensure the communication with, and involvement of, all interested disciplines to each project.
* Highlighting issues which could impact on quality, cost and scheduled or HSE matters. Advise on preparation of documentation. Actively train and encourage the development of local staff.

Advise on preparation of documentation.
* All activities in area, including, but not limited to, operation of the equipment, preparation for maintenance, preventative maintenance activities, monitoring equipment, minor maintenance, other routine duties.
