HSE Coordinator and H2S Instructor. Responsible of the HSE System put in place during the "Fracture" Operations in Ypergas (owner of the Yucal-Placer field in Guárico State-Venezuela). Instruction of the personnel concerning to the protection due to the presence of H2S and CH4 gases at the the-job-site (atmosphere) while performing the "frac" job at the well PLA-19 and PLA-20. During the development of the job many risks were involved due to the fact of the different operations were taking place, such as lifting (rig-up and rig-down of equipment, crane ops. As well as forklift ops, H2S presence (we worked at about 200 ppm of concentration), detection and protection with the breathing apparatus were needed. CO2, methanol and others gases to be mixed and prevention was a must.
Concerning HSE, all the techniques and principles were also in place and I was the responsible person to develop such system. (if need reference or recommendation letter I can submit it whenever require, signed by the Operations Supervisor with Total (Ypergas).

HSE Instructor, Responsible for the Creation and Translation of Corporate HSE Procedures Manuals for different National and International's Contractors for the National Oil Industry. As HSE Instructo0r, also prepared Instruction related HSE for the Contractor's Personnel.
Regarding to the adaptation of HSE policies of foreign companies-Operators- (before beginning operations in Venezuela or when necessary and important adjustments are made), The Instructor adapts such Policies and Procedures to the Spanish language, always in conjunction with Client's Representatives. Then these recommendations are accepted, put in place as Corporate Regulations and displayed to the work force (training).

Safety Coordinator for Hook up and Commissioning Support at Water Injection, Gas Compression and Production Platforms CHEVRON LL-652 Project at Lake Maracaibo. Control and Supervision of HSE Inspectors assigned to the work place. Responsible for the tools used regarding HSE Program, such as SATOP Program, Safety Meetings, PTW System, Drills, etc.
It is important to notice that during this project the statistical figures of administration as for severity were not affected, that is to say, there were not cases of accidents with loss of time, they only registered illnesses and cases of first aids. The Line Management of the Operator (Chevron) and the Contractor's (Flag Instalaciones) had a real HSE commitment in order to achieve the goals and objectives programmed, showing a high level of HSE awareness from the top level of the Management to the workers at low levels. As Safety Technician, he observes and advises Management, supporting the Company to gain and share experience from operations that may assist in making the workplace a safer environment, which is the goal of the company as stated in Corporate Safety Policy.

Safety Specialist. Reporting to the EH&S Manager. In this position together with the Manager in Adapting HSE Procedures. He was responsible for the translation and monitoring of the HSE Manuals, Emergency Response Plans and Working Procedures of the Operator prior to beginning operations in Venezuela (Ambrosio and Gulf of Venezuela Fields).
