Project: JUBAIL ACETYLS COMPLEX Client: SAUDI INTERNATIONAL PETROCHEMICALS
Project Location: JUBAIL INDUSTRIAL CITY, EASTERN PROVINCE
Scope of work performed.
To supervise all day to day activities at site, checking site safety requirements and compliance from contractor, sub contractors, vendors and visitors. Preparing daily and weekly site safety reports including incident, near miss and accident investigations and report to HSSE manager. Enforce Fluor HSSE policy at the site in connection with contractor HSE personnel. Reporting directly to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environmental) manager on a daily and weekly basis, auditing of UC, UA, SRV and HK in the work areas. Timely advised to the concerned departments to take corrective action and rectify unsafe conditions and encouraged good house keeping. Strictly approved Work Permits like Confined Space Permits, Excavation Permits after checking and counter rechecking all preparation, precaution and procedures of the company. Conduct Safety Officers' (contractors & sub-contractors) meeting to discuss the observations, issues and their corrective action & action plans to diminish unsafe acts and safety rule violations and also to mitigate near misses by checking appropriate documents related to the specific task.

Participation in risk analysis, HAZOP studies, process safety estimation, initiating & conducting studies of safety procedures in relation to petrochemical products (Urea & Ammonia) as per the OSHA, ANSI & NFPA regulations. Maintenance of safety documentation & preparing safety alerts based on accidents and near misses. Training workforce in JSA, PSM, BBS, Safety Awareness, Refresher training and Induction to new contractors' employees. Other specialized trainings on topics relevant to construction activities. Chair monthly "Safety Performance" meeting and report to "HSE" manager about the progress and ongoing activities and programs. Chair weekly HSE Officers' (contractors & sub-contractors) meeting to discuss the observations and their corrective action & action plans. Arrange training programs in coordination with Training Section. Arrange emergency drills, mock drills, near-miss campaign and Safety Day etc.
