- bids evaluation, tabulation and proposals alignment;
- following bid negotiation and vendor selection;
- creating the Purchase Order/Contract/Frame Agreement for the winning vendor according to the Request for Quotation requirements or Purchasing Request;
- managing Purchase Order/Contract/Frame Agreement modification/review in case of new needs or in case of reviewed Purchasing Request;
- evaluating of vendors;
- ensuring prompt and cost-effective activities related to expediting custom-clearance and transport/shipping to the delivery point.

- responsible to ensure that the Procurement Activities are provided with efficiency, in expected time and cost;
- responsible to ensure the transparency and traceability of the Procurement activities;
- responsible to use suitable suppliers, as a rule, qualification is performed only if this is required and approved through the relevant Purchasing Request;
- responsible to reduce the possible market risks (exclusive Vendors, Vendors not adequate in terms of technical requirements, etc);
- responsible to constantly direct the activities towards the client and Requesting Departments satisfaction;
- responsible to use, when it is possible, the capabilities of the other ENI Group Companies;
the procurement activities must be carried out in order to meet the requirements of Saipem Model 231;

Responsibilities: - evaluate and establish the technical characteristic for the requested spare parts;
- prepare all the technical drawings and documentation, in order to set & build the technical drawing data base;
- evaluate and select new suppliers relevant for his area of responsibility, negotiate the price, lead time, delivery terms and quantities;
- supply spare parts from and to other BAT Companies through Spare Finder in order to reduce the factory stock level of obsolete items;
