Position: CIVIL SITE ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
* Reporting to Resident Engineer and preparing daily progress report.
* Coordinating with MEP engineers for approval of drawings & material submittal.
* Coordinating with Architectural & Structural engineer to resolve project related problems.
* Monitoring to Main Contractor, Sub-Contractor & MEP Contractor about their work.
* Maintaining files Soil & Cube test reports, Writing letters to Main Contractor for delay of work, safety & arranging meetings.
* Inspect the construction of temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with the contract documents and approved shop drawings and submittals.
* Check for obstructions, Photograph and document the condition of existing property that might be damaged by the work. Make sure all existing structures, property, utilities and landscaping are properly protected.
* Review materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples, materials and equipments and report finding to RE.
* Checked that material delivered to site are properly stored and report discrepancies to the RE.
* Prepare daily logs and reports. Maintain records of inspections made, test performs, work executed, etc.
* Perform all work in accordance with the contract administration procedures manual.
* Observes site safety practices and the progress of the work. Report any concerns to the RE.
* Assists with the inspection of completed works. Help prepare punch lists monitor the start of testing commissioning and handover of the works.
* Review RFIs received from contractor and make recommendation on resolution.
* Review any requests for variance received from contractors and provide comments as to entitlement and recommendations on resolution. Participate with the RE in negotiations as required.
* Assist the RE in resolution of any claims issues.
* Perform all other duties assigned by the RE.
