PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

OIL & GAS EPCM PROJECT IN CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA AND IN TRIPOLI, LIBYA

Project: Ongoing re-vamp and expansion work to upgrade and maintain gas facility and pipeline of Suncor Energy.

Project: Conceptual design and FEED for developing Sultan and Al Kabir fields of Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) Ltd. of Libya that included EPF and GOSP, crude oil line to export terminal, gas line tie-in to trunk-line, crude oil storage tanks, power generation utilizing processed gas, instrumentation and environmental studies.

Project: Completed project engineering work from conceptual to detailed engineering and provided inputs during construction and commissioning for continuous improvements and expansions of an emulsion gathering and oil-water-gas separation/treatment facility of EnCana. The expansion and optimization increased the production of the facility with more than two hundred emulsion production, water injection and CO2 injection wells to 40 KBPD.

* Installed condensate tanks and improved De-hy efficiency, retrofitted a line heater and meter run meeting the changes of code; re-vamped a compressor and added additional stage to mitigate low suction pressure; installed a 3-phase separator to compensate deficiency of an existing separator; reduced BTEX emission as per regulation by installing an incinerator; installed separator skid along with solar powered injection pumps, ESD, meter run etc.

* Prepared project documents namely scope of work, project coordination procedure, project numbering procedure, project execution plan, contract strategy, technical queries, cost estimates, cost control report, schedules, work breakdown structure, activity and deliverable list, contracts, minutes of meeting with client, weekly progress meeting minutes, weekly and monthly project progress report, project closeouts etc.

* Coordinated with the site construction team in addition to the direct interface with the project manager of the client; and managed inter discipline coordination in a multi-discipline engineering team environment.

* Managed and approved internal documents, met the deadlines of engineering deliverables and resolved procurement and construction issues of EOR, Water flood, Dehydration, and CO2 Mitigation Projects.

* Reviewed engineering progress and managed scope change that ensured cost effective project completions of the largest CO2 injected emulsion gathering facility of Canada.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION AND OPERATION SUPPORT FOR GAS PROCESSING PLANTS

Project: Provided project engineering and operational support for construction and operation of Titas and Habiganj Gas field. Each gas field consisted of gathering lines from 14 wells (30 MMSCFD each) to 6 central gas-processing plants (60 MMSCFD each) with a combined capacity of about 800 MMSCFD.

* Completed engineering and erection work to develop five gas wells, gathering system and a gas processing plant of capacity 60 MMSCFD that included compressors, TEG dehydration, LTS, refrigeration & adsorption systems.

* Planned and procured static and rotary machineries for expansion of the gas gathering facilities and gas processing plants, as well as to fulfill the requirement of the O & M group for smooth operation.

* Installed the storage tank and pumping facility for 600 bbl/day condensate produced from each plant.

* Liaised with transmission companies to transfer custody through ongoing negotiation and correspondence.

OTHER OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY EXPOSURE IN ALBERTA

* Gained overall knowledge about the under balance drilling operation and pressure control system that employed electronic choke for mud management system; exposed to oilrig instrumentation and usage of mud processing equipment such as mud gas separator, de-silter, centrifuge, shaker, mud pump etc.; closely worked with the drilling operation system such as Pason system; communication between the Pason system and the electronic choke operated mud management system.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION FOR A POWER PLANT PROJECT

Project: Provided project engineering and operational support for a 120MM USD, 110 MW, gas-fired and duel fuel engine operated, barge mounted power plant during construction, commissioning and operation.

* Prepared compliance lists for efficient technical correspondence to fulfill the requirements of the agreements and contracts signed between the Power Project Company and various parties for implementing $120 MM project.
* Liaised with the Owner's Engineer and Project VP in U.S.A, and the Power Board, for project reporting and to resolve ongoing issues in relation to development and operation of 110 MW gas fired, dual fuel Power Plant.
* Supervised, provided technical decisions monitored and reported the progress of the work of the EPC contractors and their subcontractors to fulfill the EPC and O & M contract requirement.
* Developed an effective mechanism for fuel testing and procurement without affecting the warranty issues and performed Environmental Management, as per the guideline of World Bank and Department of Environment.
* Performed correspondence and inter-discipline coordination with various departments for all project and contract related consents, negotiations, permissions and to support operation.
