Operator working in the furnace area, responsible for thirteen cracking heaters that convert ethane, the primary feedstock, and propane, the secondary feedstock, into ethylene, propylene, butadiene, and Debutanized Aromatic Concentrate (DAC).
Operator working in the fractionation area responsible for the product separation portion of the plant. In this section of the plant, a series of heat exchangers,vessels,fractionation columns and refrigeration systems are used to separate the various components of the charge gas mixture into individual plant products.
