I am an experienced engineering and maintenance manager, with a diverse background in the hydrocarbon and power industries. This includes extensive experience in operations, maintenance, projects, contracting and engineering. I have specialised in the asset management of major facilities and am the winner of the MESA (Maintenance Engineering Society of Australia) 2004 Leadership Award.

Overview:

* 15 years as an operations support manager in setting up reliability, engineering, maintenance, asset management and integrity systems for new oil & gas facilities; both onshore and offshore; (Cairn, Woodside, Elf and BP) and managing them through the first years of successful operation, working in the North Sea and Australia/ Asia.
* Over 20 years in maintenance, projects and production, in various managerial roles. 8 years in the electrical and gas industries.

EXPERIENCE

6/07 to date Cairn Energy India

General Manager - Engineering & Maintenance

I am responsible for setting up operations support, maintenance, integrity and engineering support for operational readiness of the Cairn India Projects - Development of a large oil producing facility in the Rajasthan desert, includes the Mangala Processing Terminal (approx 200,000 bpd) and 660km 24¡¨ Pipeline. This involves building up an Asset Integrity team providing operational support into the Projects and developing the integrity management systems, SAP PM development, setting up support contracts and recruiting teams for operation.

8/06 to 6/07 Woodside Energy Limited

Maintenance Consultant - North Rankin Redevelopment

I was responsible for maintenance and operational integrity input to the North Rankin Redevelopment Project - refurbishment of an existing offshore platform and development of a new offshore platform. I was involved in availability modelling, critical spares, maintainability and operability studies, operations and maintenance strategy development, and building up the operations team ready for start-up.

1/05 - 8/06 Clough Services

Contract Manager - CAJV CoP Bayu Undan Operations & Maintenance Support Contract

I managed the operations, maintenance and integrity support contract for the ConocoPhillips Bayu Undan offshore facilities, platform complex and FSO. I had a staff of 80, engineers, technicians and support personnel. The contract turned over approx $20 million per year.

Operations & Maintenance Coordinator

I was seconded to the Clough AMEC JV as the O&M Manager giving maintenance and integrity support to the Bayu Undan contract, and the development of support contracts, one being the new Woodside Engineering Services Contract.

I led a Maintenance Strategy Development team on the ConocoPhillips Darwin LNG Plant setting up the maintenance and inspection plans for operations. I carried out a maintenance setup audit on the Woodside Otway project.

2/95 - 12/04 Aker Kvaerner

01/04 - 12/04 Chief Engineer, Operations & Maintenance
Aker Kvaerner Australia, based in Perth

I managed the operations, maintenance and integrity group support to maintenance and modifications contracts in Australia and Asia, offshore and onshore oil & gas including FPSOs, petrochemical and refining plants. Responsible for operational risk, reliability, availability and maintainability input to new designs. Involved in operations maintenance and inspection optimisation, development and auditing. I was seconded to the O&G Solutions/ Santos Alliance for 6 months to act as the Engineering Manager for the Moomba LRP Project following the fire and explosion. I assisted Woodside with integrity input into the FPSO Chinguetti tender selection.

I managed the engineering group and supported the contractual services to several oil company clients. This involved the production of design and construction modification packages for numerous onshore plant, offshore platforms and FPSOs, and the development of contract tenders.

2/95 - 9/01 Operations Support Manager
Kvaerner Oil & Gas Ltd, Aberdeen

11/97-9/01 I provided a comprehensive operation, maintenance and engineering support service to Woodside Energy Limited for the Laminaria Asset; the FPSO Northern Endeavour; based in Perth. This included being the Technical Integrity Custodian. I held the position of the Head of Maintenance & Engineering within the Woodside Asset Team, and set up the systems for operation, maintenance and engineering support. This involved RCM, RBI, operational spares and Verification schemes. I managed the operations and engineering support teams, covering operations, maintenance, inspection, engineering modifications, construction and shutdowns. I was a member of the WEL Emergency Response Team.

6/97-11/97 I project managed the implementation of the operations support contract to Elf Exploration Ltd. This involved the setting up and managing of a new maintenance system. Transfer of warehousing and offshore operations personnel. Set up team-based working system. Implemented ¡¥Maximo¡¦, for all of Elf's Forth round offshore Assets; Piper, Saltire and Claymore. Also, set in place the maintenance part of operations, for a new asset, Elgin / Franklin. I was involved in operability, maintainability and availability modelling during the project phase. I Managed 200 personnel, with a turnover of $30,000,000.

2/95 -5/97 I managed the operational support part of the BP/KOGL Alliance Project for BP Harding, a ¡¥jack-up¡¦ production platform.
I worked within the BP asset team as the Engineering Team Leader providing a comprehensive, operations, maintenance, engineering and construction support service; during the project, into operations, to ensure the technical integrity of the facility was maintained and the statutory, environmental, and safety requirements were met.

11/93 to 2/95 A.O.C International Ltd., Aberdeen

7/94 to 2/95 Senior Maintenance Engineer
I was a senior member of the corporate maintenance group, giving engineering, construction and maintenance support to the company's maintenance & modification projects. I was involved in maintenance strategy reviews, maintenance audits, availability modelling, quality in maintenance and development of healthcare packages, maintenance services and input to tender documentation.

11/93 to 7/94 Senior Facilities Engineer
Responsible for a comprehensive maintenance, operations, project, construction, shutdown and service support to AOCI clients. I acted as the focal point with Shell Central Group for engineering development, implementation and commissioning, and all maintenance-related issues for the Shell Kittiwake and Gannet platforms. 10/79 to 11/93 Elf Enterprise Caledonia Limited.

07/93 to 11/93 Operations Consultant
I was the operations, reliability and maintenance consultant to the offshore asset teams. A member of the emergency response team my budget was $6,000,000.

07/92 to 07/93 Chief Maintenance Engineer, Aberdeen
A member of the operations management team, I was responsible for the maintenance of all offshore platforms. I devised and implemented the offshore maintenance strategy, commensurate with the Production department's objectives. I devised and controlled the maintenance budget. I managed the offshore maintenance staff and an onshore organisation. I was a senior member of the Production Department, part of the emergency response team, and also part of the transition team through to asset management.
I managed 150 personnel, with a budget of $15,000,000.

01/92 to 07/92 Staff Maintenance Engineer, Aberdeen
Responsible for the maintenance and shutdown management of Claymore platform and, seconded (part time) to the Loss Prevention Department as a member of a team set up to produce the "Safety Case" for the Claymore field. I managed 50 personnel, with a budget of $5,000,000.
