Unleaded Gasoline & Low Sulphur Gas Oil project for Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (Takreer) at Ruwais, Abu Dhabi - UAE
This is USD 600 Million LSTK Project, which includes Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning & Test Runs. The project is challenging and fast track in nature. The project is divided into Green Field area, Existing Refinery Revamping, Offsites & Utilities. Green field area consists 12 major units namely Water Reuse, H2S Removal, Condensate Recovery, Heavy Naphtha Mercury Removal, Auxiliary Equipment, Light Naphtha Mercury Removal, Sulphur Recovery, Gas Oil Hydrotreating, Heavy Naphtha Hydrotreating, Light Naphtha Hydrotreating, Light Naphtha Isomerisation and CCR Reformer. Refinery, Offsites & Utilities consists 17 Units, which includes Kerosene Hydrotreater, Gas Oil Hydrotreater, Tank Farm, Utilities and Jetty. Detailed planning and sequencing was the key factor for smooth execution of the project.
Qatif Facilities at Barri Gas Plant for Saudi Aramco at Jubail – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
This is USD 450 Million LSTK Project, which includes Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning assistance. LPDGA Capacity is 250 MMSCFD of Sour Gas and SRU Capacity is 934 Tons/Day per Train. The project is challenging and fast track in nature. The quantities involved are – 35,000 cu.m of concrete, 9,000 tons of structural steel, 900,000 dia. in. piping (10,000 tons), 9,500 tons equipment, electrical & instrumentation works. Also 115 kV transmission system is included. The project is wide spread in the existing facilities and divided into 18 process units (Gas Inlet, Compression, Low Pressure DGA, 5 Trains of Sulphur Recovery, Gas Refrigeration and Chilling, Utilities, Offsites etc.) involving work permit systems, interface with other parties, lot of existing underground facilities. This complicated project required a very detailed planning and sequencing for successful completion of the project.

This is one of the largest refineries in the world and the project was challenging and fast track in nature. Main Contractor for the Project was Snamprogetti. The unit's capacity is 200 MBD (Fractionation of 200 MBD condensate to produce LPG, Light & Heavy Naphtha, Kerosene, Light & Heavy Diesel and AGO. The construction work scope includes 250,000 inch dia piping, 9000 cu.m concrete, 2500 tons of structural steel, RTR piping, 5500 tons equipment erection, Electrical and Instrumentation.
Duration: May 2002 to March 2003.

The LNG Trains capacity - 7.8 MMTPA, piping scope - 800,000 inch dia., structural steel scope - 8,500 Tons, equipment erection – 17,000 Tons (including NP Italy Frame-7 gas turbines, Centrifugal compressors, recovery units and huge vessels and columns), pre-cast concrete structures 11,000 cu.m.
