Role involves providing global logistical solutions, ship chartering, contract management, Air Freight, Study equipment & bulk lists, ensuring both project and forwarder stick to budget, preparing charter contracts, managing two teams total of fourteen staff.

MW Kellogg June 08 – Oct 08 NLNG Train 7 Project Shelved

Was brought on board for the NLNG Train 7 Nigerian Project as Snr Logistics Specialist. My role here involved studying equipment & bulk lists, studying forwarder contracts, setting Logistics Procedures, providing cost modules for budget forecasting. Working with lead times preparing material shipping schedules - all in order for site requirements. Working closely with buyers, Inspectors, Expeditors, engineers and to ensure they also understand the requirements by logistics department. Involved in designing a materials receipt area at site, this enabled easier access for vessels and movement from quayside to site. Forecasting budget for pre-Carriage, carriage and on carriage costs and plus man hours.
Project size 495,000 Freight Tons. Good understanding of Supply Chain Management system. Negotiate and plan delivery profiles with Freight Forwarders, at same time have good knowledge of the forwarding industry.
NLNG Train 7 put on hold.

2006-2007 AREVA / Marubeni Project: NIPP
To move 9500Freight tons of substation equipment spread out internationally to three separate fields, organizing out of gauge movements in Europe and in part of Africa. Setting up work stations/base suitable for operation

2004 – 2005 Addax Petroleum Project: Okwori Field
Provided full logistics movement of 10 x 110ton reels of Flow Lines from around Europe in to Nigeria.

2002 – 2007 SHELL / AMEC Project BONGA / FPSO
I lead the logistics team to provide complete support equipment for the FPSO, pre fabricated units, Gas Metering Skids, Separators, complete logistics service and support provided from start to finish. Managing complete import and export customs system ensuring all entries are completed satisfactory for temp and perm movements.

2001 Premier Oil Project: Sinapa
Moving pipes from Europe to Dakar, full track and trace service provided, prior to project I set up suitable work base in Senegal. This included support of Bunker to supply vessels and setting up a base for loading/off loading of equipment.
