Position: Instrument Supervisour [Maintenance & Commissioning]

Summery of experience.

Being a Diploma holder in Instrumentation and having experience on almost all activities pertaining to installation, testing commissioning and maintenance of various kind of conventional & intelligent smart transmitter, electronic controllers, control valves, switches, chart recorders, converters and also have good experience in shut down jobs and maintaining calibration and test reports etc.
I have dealt with various makes of instruments such as Taylor, Fisher, Rosemount, Masoneilan, Honeywell, Foxboro,Valtex, Beties, Adams, etc.
I have dealt with various system maintenance like Automation in Honeywell TDC3000 DCS, Foxboro IA series DCS, Triconics PLC, Honeywell FSC PLC, Modicon PLC, Speedtronics PLC, GE Mark V PLC, Fire &gas monitoring Salem and Bentley Nevada vibration monitoring. The 18 years of experience particularly in Instrumentation in various major Oil fields, Refineries, LNG, Fertilizers, Petrochemicals and Cement plants, exposed me to substantial knowledge in Instrumentation and control engineering fields.
I have attended vitnesing loop test and Functional logic check during commissioning with contractor and start up.

Duties performed so far in my career.

Consult manufacturer's manuals to determine tests and maintenance procedures for instruments used for measuring and controlling Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature and other control variables in manufacturing and processing.
Inspect and test operation of instruments and system to diagnose faults using testing devices.
Repair and adjust system components or remove or replace defective parts.
Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacture's specifications.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports.
Install new control instruments on existing plant equipment.
To carry out and monitor efficient maintenance of instruments with compromising quality of job.
Supervise instrument technician, give guidance and motivation.
Assist Instrument Engineer in review of stock level in warehouse.
To maintain Metering system and proving streams for accuracy of K-factor/Meter factor and accepting.
To receive the daily work permits from the supervisor and perform PMs as per the defined specification in the MAXIMO at the assigned desert location.
To maintain shutdown system in good condition for safe plant operation.
To maintain Turbine, boiler and compressor control system in good condition to obtain desired output with in safe working condition.
To maintain analyzer house equipment and control system of process sampling.
To prepare daily, weekly and monthly maintenance for preventive and corrective maintenance with optimum utilization of available man power.
To assist Instrument Engineer in preparation procedure or maintenance of equipment installed with optimum consideration of safety for personal and equipment.
To provide on the job training and guidance to subordinates.
To assist Instrument Engineer in preparation of modification to ease out the plant operation and to improve safety in the field.
I am fully versatile in all forms of Instrumentation and DCS/PLC control systems, in Construction, Shutdown and maintenance.

QATAR. OFFSHORE HALUL OXYDENTAL PETROLEUM [IPEDEX].

Since 2004 June 14th I am working with Occidental Petroleum through Ipedex in Halul PWHF Produced Water Handling facilities. Here the nature if job is Multi discipline. As a plane operator monitoring DCS control system maintenance on Instrumentation and Electrical support job. Routine maintenance carried out on various instrument like Level transmitter, SAAB radar gauge,, Endorse haouse, control valve Metso, Flow transmitter fujitsu and fire & gas instrument like Flame detector, H2S detector and Hydrocarbon detector. DCS system made is ABB ALLEN BRADLY and PLC GE FANUC. Involved in metering system and carried out proving streams for K-factor correction of volumetric flow. Metering logging is carried out through Kelton engineering systems. Metering training was given by Kelton engineering.

Now started working with commissioning group with PS1 production station. Modification and upgrading to new system.

RASGAS: Raslaffan Industrial Area – Qatar

Worked as a Lead Instrument Technician for Rasgas LNG plant (Liquefied natural gas). System involved Foxboro DCS and PLC for ESD system. Binged with commissioning and start up with (JGC) construction group. Job status was loop checking in Foxboro IA series and Functional Logic check for ESD system (Triconix).
And involved in Fire & Gas loop checking and Function check. System used for Fire & Gas is Salem Automation with TMR (Triconix). Job involved in Anti surge control (CCC) commissioning under Vendor. Involved with metering skid OMINI inspection and calibration in high accuracy for Flow totalize.
Ragas is having Two LNG trains, Utility area (water treatment, Boiler, GE gas turbine's 4 and sewage water treatment plant) Storage & loading and Inlet facilities.
GTG (General gas turbine generator) having a capacity of 30 mega watt controlled buy system called GE speedtronics monitoring by Mark V related with relay logic.
Involved with two LNG train's and utility storage and Loading unit's for pre-commissioning. During pre-commissioning involved with ESD test such like Yellow shutdown, Blue shutdown and Red shutdown checking functional logic and plant shutdown system to make confirmation of operating process.
Involved with trip system which is used for gas distribution is called HIPS. Trouble shooting for trip, checking with SOE alarms in events first up alarm in TMR systems.
Carried out PPM jobs and Shutdown maintenance, overhauling and calibration of various kinds instruments transmitters, controllers, control valves, I.R. remote control MOV'S, switches, level trolls and enraf levels. Worked with smart intelligent control valve posistioner (valtex Involved in checking functional logic using personal computer for operation request forcing logic points override).
RASGAS has given training like TMR 5 days course authorized to operate TMR system and Wonder ware software course to operate system for sulfur unit for two days.
I have undergone complete training in fire & safety, breathing apparatus, permit to work and safety induction AT Mersak institute at doha.
Since for last 2 ½ years I worked with maintenance in breakdown.

Worked as an Instrument technician with Honeywell group for FAT test at their consulting unit. Job involved with DCS Honey well TDC 3000 and FSC (fail safe control).
