I was hired as a Contractor, to support the Army Depot where I demonstrate superior knowledge with aircraft parts by working at CCAD in various shops which is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test, and modernize helicopters, engines, and components for all services and foreign military customers worldwide. Responsible for on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, chemical, metallurgical and training support. I have the knowledge and experience to do the work of a Material Expediter with minimal supervision. I expedite and work with avionic parts/components, structures, AMG, and electrical parts/ components on a daily basis. I am competent in material identification on major parts/ components engines, transmissions, blades, stabilators, engines transmissions, and radio receivers. I am responsible for preparing requisitions for repairable, parts and/or materials required meeting production shop work schedules, based on allowable stock levels, usage rate, and projected workload. I receive materials, parts, etc., ordered or to be re-worked. I examine items received to verify identity, quantity and work order number. I am able to determine the identity using technical manuals and specifications and knowledge of the item, checking and routing documents for inspection sign off for each process. I refer unresolved shortages to production controller or supervisor, recommending local purchase/manufacture. I have the knowledge to prepare documents to return unneeded items to supply and prepare items for routing, assuring proper tagging/documentation and handling. I use the personal computer to make inputs in various computer databases using the Army Standard Depot System.
I expedited materials with various material handling/equipment such as forklift (2-6,000 lbs), AGV's, roll lift, tow tractor, burden carrier electric roll lift, and scooter and hand lifts and electric carts, using the proper safety guidelines as taught by the motor pool training and license requirement.
