JOB SUMMERY
My resent job is as H2S Safety Consultant with MIS SUNBELT, a company which has an international exposure in Fire & H2S safety services in UAE, OMAN, QATAR, KUWAIT, SAUDI ARABIA, EGYPT, LIBYA, RUSSIA, IRAQ, KAZAKISTAN, etc…. Before I was working with PDO, Oman & ONGC, India. I have total of more than 19 years experience in the oil field including petroleum & petrochemical industries. I had worked in Petroleum, Petrochemical Industries, Oil Field, Land Rigs & Off-Shore jack up Rigs, Offshore platforms, Well Test units, Hoist & Other work over units(well cleaning, wire Line, Logging, etc…. ).
My duties:-
Train the trainers, conduct H2S Safety training in the locatin, distribution of H2S safety Certificate. Conduct H2S emergency drills, Gas Testing(H2S, SO2, LEL, BA Quality check). Support Rig up& Rig down activities (Installation of all H2S Safety Equipments like SCBAs, BA Cascade system, BA compressor, Wind Socks, H2S Gas detection system, Warning alarm system, Bug blowers, Display H2S status board), Personal gas monitor distribution (H2S & SO2) & taking field inventory.
Also using buddy system to ensure the safety of the crew, taking necessary precautions during operation (drilling, coring, logging, perforation, DST, Well cleaning, etc..). Checking of H2S concentration periodically in the well samples, Mud tanks or Mud pit, Spud can, Cellar pits, Shale shaker, Utility water tank, using the manual H2S detection Pump &Tubes. Checking of SO2 presents in the atmosphere during the well testing (DST). Restrict unauthorized entry (person, vehicle, animals) to well site. Testing the purity of compressed breathing air (oil mist& water vapour,CO,CO2, foul smell). Maintaining of the BA cascade system cylinder air pressure, refilling of SCBA and periodic Calibration& testing of Gas detection system.
Daily routine maintenance, issuing of H2S Safety badges & Train the "new H2S safety Trainers" on companies requirement, on site and in the work shop. Attending the meetings with the clients, Preparation of the service Tickets(Field Ticket) at the end of the month or after the completion of the job, & maintaining of the reports etc…

Lead the Rig up& Rig down activities (Installation of all H2S Safety Equipments like SCBAs, BA Cascade system, BA compressor, Wind Socks, H2S Gas detection system, Warning alarm system, Bug blowers, Display H2S status board). Personal gas monitor distribution (H2S & SO2) & taking field inventory, Maintaining of the BA cascade system cylinder air pressure, refilling of SCBA and periodic Calibration & testing of Gas detection system.

ii. From Oct'2004 to May'2006 I was working with Rees Oil & Gas Services as H2S safety Engineer in PDO (Oman) Land rigs, Well Test, Hoist & Work over units.
