PRESENT POSITION:

Working with Transocean as a Drilling Manager in Integrated services Project started for 5 Jack up rig for Bombay High field with client -ONGC. Operation commence in Jan 2007.

Directly Responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all drilling/ work over operation in accordance with the drilling program of ONGC for 2 Jack up rigs.

The main responsibility is to ensure that all operations are performed safely, successfully and efficiently with no harmful effects on the environment, wells, installations and productivity. In addition we must ensure that all operations are performed in compliance with ONGC & Transocean standards and policies.

Report to General Manager – Well construction in Mumbai office.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

Total of 21 years ( + ) of multifaceted experience in the Oil / Gas Industries on various Onshore / Offshore rigs for Many operators in different fields in exploration, development, well testing, work-over and well completion with bleach/ acid jobs/Mud enzymes. With Gas lift mandrel and ESP completions. Well drilled with High drift, SRDH and ERD wells, completion run for Multi laterals with Dual completion, Drilled wells with Synthetic base Mud system and water base mud system.

Responsibility includes:

* Associated with the start up of the Integrated project, initial planning and recruiting of 10 DSV and 10 WSWE was all done in time. Presentation for the start up of the project to highlights the job responsibility of each member of the team was done.
* Planning, Coordinating and supervising the activities of management regarding drilling and completion of wells.
* Consulting on reviewing well cost and drilling plans is prepared by the drilling engineers.
* Supporting the drilling by sharing experiences on past results achieved and lessons learned with drilling team to ensure overall drilling performance.
* Technical advice for drilling contractors and consultant on technical issues for drilling problems.

LAST POSTING / PROJECT: Worked as Drilling Supervisor with PDO, Oman ( Shell) from Oct 2002 to March 2006.

Experienced Achieved while working as Supervisor as below: -

* Construct and deliver high quality wells by drilling, working over and /or completing wells as per programme in a cost effective and safe manner.
* Mange the execution of the operations carried out by the rig under control, following the drilling or work over programmes and according to PDO and Well Engineering standards.
* Manage the HSE performance of the Rig in compliance with the PDO HSE management system.
* Manage the wellsite organisation ( Wellsite well engineer, Drilling contractors, Sub-contractors and service companies).
* Coordinate the planning, programming, calling off and execution of all wellsite activities, from mobilisation to a new location ( including rig move and transport of materials), through drilling and completing wells ( of main, sub and service contractors, internal PDO services and liaison with other PDO departments) to demobilisation ( including site clearing) in close liaison with PDO and contractor resources.
* Provide comprehensive reporting of all wellsite activities. Written reporting & verbal reporting.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of expertise with respect to execution of drilling, workover and completion programmes with attention to well control and safety management.
* Manage all activities under control in Conformity with Company Health, Safety, Environment and Security policies and in accordance with quality management principles.
* Coordinate rigsite response to incidents and accidents. Responsible for doing a first-line investigation and reporting of all accidents and incidents on the location.
* Be on-site controller for all emergencies on the rig ( or at the camp) and provide support to the Local Emergency base controller.

Before joining PDO, Oman worked with Transcean Inc. Drilling Contractor previously known as Sedcoforex drilling co. for 15 (+/-) years on the Rig.

Worked on a Semi-submersible rig Sedco-601, working for Unocal Indonesia for Deep water project. The Rig Sedco 601 was modified to work in water depth of 6500' with Surface Stack configuration & with pre-mooring anchor system.

Experience High lights: -

* Drilled & executed Horizontal well in lekhwair field which is NW part of Oman. Wells drilled in time and cost effective. The team member for drilling the longest lateral well in Oman.
* Completed well with single completion, Gas lift mandrel and with ESP pumps.
* Ran Expandable liners in the horizontal section for isolating water section zones.
* Stimulation job done with Bleach and 30 % Acid and / with Mud enzymes of BJ.
* Drilled more than 100 wells in Offshore Indonesia with Unocal Indonesia with Surface stack concept with Oil base mud.
* Drilled the deepest surface stack configuration wells on a Semi-submersible rig. Water depth of 6772 feet.
Drilled more than 900,000 feet of subsea wells in offshore with different rigs and different offshore fields.
* Drilled fastest Subsea wells in Gulf of Thailand with Sedco forex, for Unocal Thailand.
* Drilled Subsea wells with Surface stack configuration in Gulf of China with Chevron, China.
* Drilled Subsea well with Surface stack configuration for Shell Brunei.

Worked as Drilling Supervisor with PDO in Oman.

Nov'2002 – April 1998:

Worked as Senior Toolpusher with Transocean International Inc., on a Semi submersible rig doing deep water exploration in Indonesia, with pre-mooring anchor concept. Drilled wells for Unocal Indonesia, Shell Brunei, Total Indonesia, ARCO.
This Rig Sedco 601 was modified in Singapore ship yard into working with Surface stack configuration and drilled more than 100 wells in all around Indonesia, china and Brunei. I was associated with this project from the start of this whole new concept of drilling subsea wells with Surface Stack configuration.

Worked as Safety Officer On Searex XI and Searex VIII for Total Indonesia and Chevron in China. In year 1999.

April 1998 – Sept 1997:

Promoted to Night toolpusher, with SedcoForex Drilling international Inc., on Sedco 601 a semi submersible rig in Gulf of Thailand working for Thaipo and Texaco Oil company. Drilling conventional subsea well with directional wells upto 55 degree.

Sept'1997 – May 1996:

Worked as Driller on Sedco 703 semi-submersible rig with SedcoForex Drilling international Inc., Offshore Vietnam for Carrigali Petronas. These well were drilled with water base mud with subsea configuration and the rig could drill upto 1500' subsea depth.

May 1996 – Mar 1993:

Promoted as Driller on Sedco 601 in Gulf of Thailand working for Unocal Thailand and Maersk Oil. We had the distinction of drilling the fastest subsea well in Far east asia reason. Drilled more than 600,000 fts in span of 3 years time.

Feb 1993 – Dec 1990
:
Transferred to Sedco-601 as Assistant Driller and worked with National Mud pumps, Shaffer 10k BOP stack, Varco TDS -4 and drilling with Oil base mud.

Dec 1990 – Sept 1989:

Worked as Assistant driller on Trident VII Rig in Singapore shipyard. Prepare the rig for mobilisation. Worked also as AD on a land rig in Tanzania for Shell Tanzania.

Sept 1989 – Mar 1989:

Worked as Assistant driller on Trident VII and mobilise rig from Singapore shipyard to Papua New Guinea and did 3 wells for OPIC.

Feb 1989 – June 1987:

Joined Oil field with Sedco forex, Schlumberger as Trainee AD and worked on Ultra heavy rig in India and than transferred to Offshore on Sedco 252 working in Bombay offshore.

May 1987 – Jan 1986:
