Fixed Asset/Inventory Control Accountant in Finance & Accounting Dept. Star Energy (Kakap) Ltd, an off-shore exploration oil & gas company, operating a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) at Kakap Natuna.

Function:
To provide expertise and services of fixed asset and inventory accounting and reporting in accordance with the company policies and government laws and regulations.

Main Duties:
- Monitors materials movement to and from warehouses, their proper authorization, coding and booking.
- Verifies month-to-date materials transactions, which include the checking of their completeness, and handling of exceptions and charges.
- Reviews and checks reports to check irregularities, including excessive stock/price, and non-moving items and communicate findings.
- Maintains accurate ledger reflecting accurate information on the company's fixed assets and warehouse stocks, including fuel inventory.
- Maintains proper documentations on the company's fixed assets and warehouse stocks movements.
- Conducts periodic physical inventory of the company's fixed assets and warehouse stocks.
- Prepares various financial reports as required.
- Keeps abreast of applicable laws and regulations to maintain up-to-date compliance.
- Assists in reviewing related policies & procedures, recommending changes when necessary and ensures compliance.
- Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.

Additional Duties:
- Perform tax compliance for Corporate Tax and monthly tax obligation.
- Compile the information regarding the monthly tax obligations and preparing the necessary tax payments to be able to make a timely payment.
