Junior and senior operation engineer experience:
1- Safe Startup & shutdown procedures for system steam turbine units 2*320 MW (cold start up, warm start up, hot start up).
2- Safe Startup& shutdown procedures for gas turbines GT's (PG9151) (3 * 110MW )design load and waste heat boilers 3* 240 T/H. (cold start up,, hot start up) water treatment plant & desalination plant 4*7 MIGD).
3- To be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the efficient operation of the equipment in my designated area, handing over to the incoming shift in a systematic and orderly manner.
4- To prepare and hand over equipment in a safe manner to maintenance staff for repair and take back in service after checks as per maintenance

General commissioning/start-up experience:
1-I am exclusively working with a huge International Engineering contractors like SIEMENS,GE, ALOSTOM, SKODA, CMI, ENTEC and Hitachi.
2-Experience in a modern thermal power plant, and commissioning activates related to mechanical attend site mechanical commissioning/erections and other technical meetings.
3- Experience with the different operation systems that related to thermal power plant, gas turbine, combined cycle and desalination plant.

General Duties and Responsibilities:-
1-To assist Manager Commissioning (Mechanical) in all the activities which required supervision, coordination and follow-up mechanical tests on completion of the plant ( systems walk down, piping hydrostatics tests& flushing, mechanical equipments first start-up, chemical cleaning, steam blow out--------------ect,).
2- Enhances skills, performance and development of all employees by sponsoring and promoting on job training programs to ensure adherence to specifications and promotes work of the highest quality (shift advisor job).
3- Directs, coordinates and supervises the actions of client operational staff during the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and operational phases of project execution.
4- Troubleshoots plant operational issues and coordinates corrective action with required discipline to Ensures proper operation of all systems and equipment and Ensures compliance with water and steam chemistry requirements befor issue TOC. For the contractors.
5- Monitor and report day to day any mechanical defect / deficiency in the plant or any deviation from the contractually specified scope and reports discipline progress against schedule activities.
6- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following and ensuring adherence to Established project Safety Procedures, Work Permit Procedures, Work Order Procedures & Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) Procedures.
7-Plans and coordinates DCS Logic Functional testing with I&C, Electrical and DCS commiss. specialists and Participates in Plant Performance Testing.
8-Reviews engineering drawings and specifications to ensure a thorough understanding of plant operational and safety related issues.

9- Ensures effective application of all strategic commissioning tools, techniques and programs (for example, Commissioning Manual, Field Reference Guidelines, Manufacturers' recommendations, standard industry practices).
10-Continually improves commercial and organizational skills and knowledge.
