Petro-Canada, "Big Ed" Refinery Conversion Program - Sulphur Complex, Edmonton, Alberta
Front-end engineering and detailed engineering, procurement, and materials management for a new sulphur complex in Petro-Canada's existing Edmonton refinery, which subsequently was cancelled. The new sulphur complex was part of Petro-Canada's project to switch a part of the feedstock from conventional crude to bitumen. The sulphur complex consisted of a sour water stripping unit, an amine unit and a sulphur recovery unit including storage and loading facilities. Infrastructure, control systems and a new substation were also included.
Area lead process engineer for Amine Recovery Unit for the Sulphur Complex. Performed basic engineering and completed BEP package.

Studied the phase envelopes, hydrate curves, compressor performance, water dew point curves, explosive limits, critical properties and heating values. ARCO Qatar, Inc., Qatar/Dubai Gas Project
- The Qatar/Dubai Gas Project consists of the development of offshore production from the North Gas Field, utilizing two offshore production platforms, a 30-inch, 22-mile subsea pipeline to Ras Laffan in Qatar, a condensate removal, gas dehydration, gas treating, and LPG recovery plant. The Gas Project will produce sweet natural gas condensate, mixed LPG product and sulphur at Ras Laffan. The sales gas is shipped through a 40 inch, 250-mile subsea pipeline to Jebel Ali, Dubai.

- Studied replacement of MDEA with DEA for gas sweetening plant at SAHL due to non-availability of MDEA. Simulated the gas sweetening plant for both DEA and MDEA solutions to study the performance of the equipment and product specification for changing the amine.

- Studied performance of crude distillation unit and gasoline stabilizer for the change in crude assay using process simulations. Also evaluated the heat exchanger trains to operate the desalter at lower temperature.

How can I find resumes that contain specific exact phrase?
To search for an exact phrase, just put quotation marks around two or more words, for example "mining engineer". Use this feature to narrow your results or to find words that can be typed differently, for example AutoCAD "Auto CAD".
