Designation: Chemist / DM plant Operation

Period: November 2007- April 2008

Nature of work and Responsibilities:

* All the activities of Erection and Commissioning of power plant water treatment system
* Assign power plant laboratory.
* Preservation of boiler during shutdown
* Operation & Monitoring of Raw water pre-treatment (Town Water)
* O & M of 30 m3/hr DM plant double streams with SAC, SBA and MB.
* Monitoring of 2000 m3 capacity Reservoir tank.
* Maintenance of Chemical Dosing System
* Maintaining norms in Closed Cooling Water(CCW) by the addition of chemicals.
* Close observation in zero discharge effluent.
* Preservation of boiler during shutdown and activities in boiler for alkali boil out system.
* Close monitoring of water parameters in different stages.
* Keeping close watch in the chemical control parameters of feed, steam, condensate and D.M. water qualities.
* Team oriented job to achieve targets and discussion with higher officials to implement the plant.
* Monitoring waste disposal system in power plant.
* Preparation of Daily generation report, weekly, monthly report, cost wise report (WTP)
