Please find attach my Resume along with the covering letter for the position of the Exploration Geologist on the subject above. I have more than six years of applied experience as a well site geologist and having approximately 100 Wells to my credit.
Since 2001 I have been working in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin particularly in the Devonian, Triassic and Cretaceous Reservoirs and estimating the quality and quantity evaluation of the permeable and porous hydrocarbon pools/Reservoirs mainly in the Peace River Arch Basin. I am confident in describing the reservoir quality, drill cuttings. As a well site geologist, I am well versed of communicating the important information that one could get at the site and pass on to the client in a timely matter.
I have ample experience in undertaking the Horizontal, Directional and Vertical wells of variable depths up to the Precambrian strata. I can excellently communicate and coordinate with Drilling, MWD & Directional Drilling teams and provide QC during Wire Line Logging. I am capable of successfully installing, monitoring, data porting, logging and trouble shooting of all types of gas detection units. I am the responsive user of well sight system logging software for the horizontal and vertical bore holes.
My background as a senior geologist in the Geological Survey of Pakistan enabled me to carry out Geological Mapping, for the potential Reservoirs, Resource material, Hydro geological and water quality mapping, and Reserve estimation. I have successfully completed several research projects and published more than 50 research publications and geological maps.

Worked with Moh & Associate Oil Field Consultants Ltd since 2001, have been keenly involved in the conventional drilling activities for the Shallow, Intermediate and deep Precambrian wells and have completed approximately 90 Vertical, Directional and Horizontal wells. Most of the work done was for Galleon Energy Inc, but also worked with Penn West Energy Inc, Anterra Energy Inc, Husky Oil ltd. The projects were mainly in the Peace River Arch Basin, Eastern BC and south west of Saskatchewan areas.

* Sample preparation, description and formation evaluation of cuttings & cores.
* Determination of Porosity and permeability from Carbonates and Sandstone reservoirs drill cuttings.

* Identification of the formation tops, picking of core point, sample depth and the casing point and DST tests.
* Excellent in communicating and coordinating with Drilling, MWD & DD teams
* Performed engineering assistance as required and writing daily drilling and geological reports

* Comfortable with rigging up and rigging down the gas detection units trouble shooting
