DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Field Calibration of pressure, flow, level & temp transmitters of different make like Yokogawa, Rosemount, Honeywell, Foxboro,Yamatake (Electronic & pneumatic) using Hart Communicator and Smart Field Communicator and giving pressure using druck pressure calibrator.
* Calibration and checking of pressure, level and temperature switches.
* Troubleshooting of different kinds of valves, solenoids and switches
* Perform direct preventive maintenance on pneumatic, electronic and process control instruments.
* Check all limit switches close/open indication.
* Tubing of Instruments.
* Cable pulling and Cable termination from instrument to panel and line checking
* Function test/ stroke testing of control valves (HVS) and other Actuators.
* Check the valve stroking 0 - 100% and check the indication to control room and adjusting if needed.
* Check and stroking the valve close/open indication and calibrate if needed.
* Loop checking of pressure, level, temperature and flow instruments down to DCS (distributed control system).
* Able to read and interpret P&ID drawings and diagram.
* Installation and termination of Instrumentation component in plant facilities especially during shutdown.
* Responsible of checking / verification and calibration of transmitters and valves
* Calibration of control valves, and its positioner.
* Knowledge in pneumatics and electronics to assist and maintaining the control system.
* Perform termination of instrumentation cables on instrument and its junction box
* Installs, cleans, calibrates, maintains, modified, overhauls and test all installed instrumentation and control system.
* Trip testing of instruments in the plant facilities at the rack room area.
* Testing of deluge system in the plant.
* Setting up calibration gas at analyzers house.
* Attend safety meeting and seminar about plant process.
* Updating and organizing instrument files and calibration record.
* Responsible for maintenance, testing of wide variety of instruments equipment and associated systems.
