Job Description:
* Receives MR and float enquiries across to all the company approved vendors
* Bid receiving and bid tabulating for analysis and report making
* Recommendations made according to the report for the management
* Technical clarification handled
* Liaise with Engineering dept for further technical substitution and with QC dept to sought out engineering related issues before making the purchase order
* Chasing vendors for expediting the deliveries
* Monitor Compliance to purchase order or contractual agreements

Buying Experience as follows:
* Material such as Plates (Grades SS 316/304, Duplex and CS),API grade steel
* pipes and fittings, structural steel, valves, flanges, adaptor spools
* E&I items such as control panel, pumps, motors, transformers, cables, lighting system
* Equipments such as storage tanks, tool baskets, offshore baskets, Porto-cabin, cranes, man lifts
* Instrumentation items like pressure gauges, control system

Expediting Experience:
* Report generation of expediting list in relation to the out standing orders
* Chasing vendors in order to get the dates expedited to meet deliveries to customers
* Vendor visits in order to educate and understand as well as expedite certain critical orders in order to ensure the work done to meet the scheduled delivery period
* Report on current status of the expedite orders and some times liaise with sales dept to resolve certain un expected issues

Skills:
* Very good at Excel spread sheet in tabulating, analysis, graphs, linking sheets for calculations, formula for calculating etc.
* Excellent MS office and email
* Worked in ERP – JD Edwards for the last 4 years and mastered the purchasing module as well as good at report generation.
* Average working experience for AutoCAD
* Modeling experience and would use this tool for communicating with the vendor sometimes as well as engineering resolutions
* Very good at Power point presentation
