CONFIDENTIAL CONSULTING REPORTS
Numerous: Most important are presented only
Block review of Peloponnesos/Epirus (2002): The drilled areas were in south and north west of Greece. Compiled pre-drilling, drilling and post-drilling activities. Presented and explained results and then suggested future prospects.
Palaeogeographic reconstruction of the Palaeozoic Mediterranean (2001): Integrated published papers into an estimate of lithology and thickness of sub-Mesozoic strata with the focus on current and future plays in western Greece.
Report on the oil exploration potential of the Greek territory: (1998 to January 2001): A volumetric survey of existing fields was followed with a discovery/failure analysis of existing well data to suggest attractive areas for hydrocarbon exploration in the territory surrounding Enterprise's Greek leases.
Oil maturation studies of the Epirus region of north-western Greece (2000): Collated and evaluated oil seeps data from reports on western Greece. Estimated the exhumation and maximum burial depth using compaction methodology.
Study of the Cretaceous-Eocene Geology (2000): Interpreted seismic sections from Albania and Greece to delineate sub-thrust features. To finalise well planning, used published papers from the Mediterranean area (mainly Italy and Albania) to estimate the thickness, categorise drilling hazards, evaluate pressures and estimate water depths. Followed up with field trips, to collect structural data, verify lithology and test thickness predictions.
Structural study of western Greece evaporites (1999): Reviewed data on drilled evaporite sections from reports and personal communication. Simulate thrusting of evaporites with the ThrustPack software to predict sub-carbonate thickness and distinguish evaporite lithology (anhydrite vs halite, gypsum).
Thermo-maturity modelling of western Greece and Albania (1998): Applied modelling software on the Enterprise Oil database to delineate the timing of hydrocarbon generation and trap formation in sub-thrust carbonates and clastic sections.
