(EX DATALOG TECHNOLOGY Ltd.) – WELLSITE GEOLOGIST & GAS ANALYST
Assignments: Turkmenistan, Canada, UK-North Sea, India, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Germany
Responsibilities include:
* Analysis of cuttings and core (microscopic, fluo, chemical tests etc) to determine the lithology, percentage, hydrocarbon evaluation, formation tops.
* Establishing the core intervals, pressure gradients calculation, pores fluid, overpressure zones identification.
* Advising on drilling hazards and drilling bit optimization
* MWD, LWD, wire line open hole interpretation for lithological & formation saturation identification, borehole geometry, geosteering support
* Drilling and mud parameters monitoring & interpretation while drilling operations based on good practical knowledge, gas shows evaluation & interpretation
* Surge & Swab, Bit hydraulics, D Exponent calculation.
* Based on gas recordings from FLAIR or GC TRACER equipment (C1-C10, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene) - reservoir fluid type identification, fluid contact identification, identification of formation boundaries and unconformities, fluid extension and seal efficiencies, biodegradation identification etc.
* Information for establishing bit change, drilling stop and casing points.
* Maps and cross sections elaboration, reservoir engineering data, production data and logs interpretation.
* Daily reports to client office about new geological data, drilling difficulties and mudlogging QC.
* Prepare and delivery to client all well data: Final Well Report, Mudlog, Pressurelog, Drillinglog a.s.o.
