I have experience in various industries including minerals processing and oil & gas, water, wastewater and environmental. I have worked on projects ranging from feasibility studies and conceptual design, to FEED and detailed design of EPCM projects, and have developed skills in design engineering, site engineering, project engineering and project management. ƒ{ Design and construction of a gold processing plant for Jerooy Gold Project EPCM project located at 3500m in Kyrgyzstan at an approximate value of US$140,000,000.
ƒ{ Prefeasibility study to determine the process, design and cost of constructing a Uranium processing plant in Peru.
ƒ{ Prefeasibility design of a copper/gold processing plant in Kyrgyzstan.
Responsibilities included:
* Project engineering including scheduling, coordinating tasks, establishing project standards for specifications, datasheets and drawings.
* Assisting with process mass balance development.

Major projects included:
ƒ{ Outline, detailed design and construction support of several 4 Delivery (4D) wastewater treatment plant upgrade schemes in the Kent and Sussex counties, for Southern Water.
ƒ{ Bespoke design of the first methanol dosing plant schemes for wastewater in the UK, to aid the denitrification wastewater process. This project set the base design and internal health and safety standards for a further 2 methanol dosing plants.
Responsibilities included:
* Detailed design of new inlet works (inlet screens, storm screens, solids handling equipment), grit removal, interstage pump stations, washwater booster pump stations, primary settlement tanks, humus tanks, tertiary sand filter filtration, outfall, lifting equipment.
* Generating hydraulic calculations for open channel flow, closed conduit flow, pump sizing and pump selections, as well as subsequent hydraulic profiles.
* Generating mechanical specifications, datasheets, schedules, PFD's and P&ID's.
* Generating OPEX and CAPEX cost estimates.
* Leading the drawings design and review process.
* Design reviews, risk reviews and HAZOP studies.
* Producing H&S documents and aiding with risk assessments, compliance plans, initial commissioning plans and process control philosophies.

I achieved a grade of 7 (very high distinction) for my final year thesis.
My thesis was the design of a ferrous foundry for the manufacture of hydraulic pump components, for a hydraulic company in Brisbane. It included all processes of foundry operations from raw materials, furnace selection, casting techniques, and post-casting processes, trends and technologies, testing, cost control, risk and effective logistics.
