Main problem - acquisition geometry has been built from scratch. Merging transition and onshore data, a lot of different noise types. The project is still ongoing. The processing objective is to produce a pre-stack time migrated stack volume.

The processing objective was to produce a pre-stack time migrated dataset, encompassing all four surveys, with improved structural imaging, fault definition and spatial resolution over the designated primary areas of interest.

Five vintages of data were processed. The data were acquired by different contractors using a variety of sweeps and acquisition parameters. The main objectives of the processing were to provide a well-imaged, contiguous dataset for input to depth migration and interpretation.

Assigning processing flow and parameters from geometry, spherical divergence correction, surface consistent deconvolution, velocity analysis and stack. Refraction statics were calculated and applied – neural network algorithm were used for first breaks picking. Significant quality improvement after refraction statics application – in sand dunes areas. Special attention were paid on coherent noise removal (FK (in 2 domains) and SWELL NOISE ATTN). Radon were applied for multiple removal. DMO were run and poststack time migration. Contact with client supervisor. Final processing report and materials shipment.

Deep goal structure processing, 2D 990km, Poststack time migration
Very low signal to noise ratio data, a lot of tests were carried out for noise suppression and removal (FXCNS two dimensional noise suppression, adaptive filter). EGRM module was used for resolving static problem. Huge elevation changes, up two 1500m along the line. Two sources: dynamite and vibroseis. Minimum phase equivalent was extracted from vibroseis sweep for vibr data. ZAP (Zone anomaly processing) was tested for noise burst removal. Spherical divergence correction, surface consistent deconvolution, DMO and many others tests were done. Merging lines of different vintages. Poststack time migration was a final product and processing report.

2005 and 2004
Data from Pakistan, Hycarbex Inc. – twice the same block
2D data, 520km. Mostly good quality data, focused on shallow small amplitude structures. Delicate typical processing without any enhancement to retain each small fault. Data from agricultural region. Flat elevation but rapid static jumps. EGRM fairly well resolved static problem. Poststack time migration was a final product and processing report.

2003
Poland Data, for Polish oil and Gas Company.
1153Kms of 2D vintage (45 lines), data acquired in 1982, 1990,1995,1997 and 2003, different recorders and different sources, matching data, crooked lines. Different static problem in different vintages - old data – low fold data. Poststack time migration was a final product and processing report.
