Total Experience of 4.6 years in Piping engineering & Plant design.

Presently working as a piping Engineer (Project lead) in Ramboll Oil & Gas-Qatar from February 2009 to till date.
Ramboll oil & Gas-Qatar is a Denmark based Oil & Gas consultancy carrying on Brown field jobs in this part. They are regular Consultants for Qatar Petroleum Projects.

Previously worked as a piping Engineer in L&T Valdel-Bangalore (Formerly known as John Brown Engineers) from November 2007 to January 2009.
L&T Valdel (Bangalore) is a pioneer basic and detail engineering organization in Offshore- Oil & Gas sector (upstream Engineering). The organization has executed a number of fixed well headed/process platforms and has now started taking up many FPSO's (Floating Production Storage & Offloading). The organization is being regular Detail Engineers for ONGC projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES IN AVANT-GARDE

Perform through review of relevant vendor information. Review & approval of Process & Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and General Arrangement drawings for the various packages like Turbine package, boiler package, Air-cooled Condenser package etc.

Preparation of Balance of plant (BOP) P&ID. Design calculation for the pipe sizing, Pressure drop and Pump capacity & head. Performing calculation for wall thickness and pipe branch connection reinforcement check in accordance to ASME B 31.1. & IBR codes.

Preparation of Specification for the Gate, Globe & Check valves package, Butterfly valves & Wafer type check valves Package, Control valves & desuperheater Package, Pumps package, Pump suction strainer Package and Piping & appurtenances package for the BOP system. Preparation of comparison & evaluation report for the BOP packages. Review & approval of GA, QAP & test certificates for the BOP packages.

Coordination with supplier & clients regarding the clarification & finalization of various packages.

Developing Plot Plans, Piping studies, Conceptual layouts etc. and detailed engineering. Preparation of turbine hall equipment layout.

Review of civil construction drawings. Provide a timely internal check of drawings prepared by other discipline.

Preparation of Mechanical datasheet for tanks.

Site visit & Study of existing layout feasibility for the new plant layout & piping requirement.

Planning and Scheduling of work, assigning work to designers and draftsmen.

Checking designers and draftsmen designs and details for dimensional accuracy and conformity with both system & layout requirement.

Participation in vendor, client meetings/ discussions, Co-ordination with Contractors and in House Team Members.

Generation of Piping Bill of materials at various stages of the project.

Design engineering for piping layout.

Develop Piping Loading Data for Civil Structural Design especially for pipe rack & Special Supports.
