Qatar Chemical Company Ltd., Doha, Qatar. Laboratory Tester, January 2002 to till date. (A joint venture between Chevron Philips & Qatar Petroleum)
- Joined before the commissioning of the plant so involved in the setup of the Laboratory, making a list of Chemicals, Glass wares, Pressure sampling equipments and accessories, Sundries items for the procurement as per the lab testing procedures.
- Prepared SOP’s for all the newly installed lab equipments and lab testing procedures.
- In-Charge of the Shift activities and directs the Lab Testers for testing samples in the Utility Lab, GC Lab and Poly Ethylene Lab as per the SOP quickly and accurately & reporting to process people.
- Responsible for the Calibration of equipments, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Proper Waste disposal, Safety and accurate data entry in LIMS.
- Prepares Certificate of Analysis for finished products like 1-Hexene, Various grades of Poly Ethylene, Sulphur and submits to Laboratory Superintendent for Approval.
- Is an Emergency Response Team Member (ERT) and Knows Basic First Aid.

Ras Laffan LNG Co.Ltd., Doha, Qatar. Lead Lab Technician, July 1998 to Dec 2002. (A joint venture between Exxon Mobil & Qatar Petroleum)
- Performs a variety of quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests and analyses for all natural gas products resulting from the offshore Production and onshore Process activities. Acts as Team Leader for Lab Technicians in their daily activities and directs them to use apparatus and instruments such as Gas Chromatographs, Spectrophotometer, Potentiometer and Infrared analysers.
- Collects special chemical samples of a specific nature, such as gaseous and highly combustible, inflammable or toxic samples. Reports abnormal conditions during shift to Area Process Panel Operators and Shift Supervisors.
- Cleans and maintains own equipment and work area.
- Co-ordinates with shipping personnel for the duration of the loading process to monitor product condition.

- Allocates work to junior chemists and reviews their work in sampling, testing and analyzing the samples from DM plant, Boilers and gas samples like Incoming feed gas and recovered LPG gas samples and Lean gases.
- Checks the preparation of standard reagents and observes performance of completed tests to ensure testing procedures and techniques have been properly implemented.
- Assists in the collection of special chemical samples of a specific nature, such as highly combustible, inflammable or toxic samples.
- Ensures laboratory equipment and apparatus are properly cared for and maintained. Maintains stock of chemicals and other items required for testing and analysis work.
Gas Authority of India Ltd, LPG Recovery Plant, Junior Chemist, Feb 96 to March 98.
- In Charge of the Shift activities and carries out routine laboratory tests for the incoming feed gas, recovered LPG, Lean gases and gaseous samples from different streams and reports any abnormalities to the Shift Deputy Managers.
- Analyses and prepares the Certificate of Quality for LPG.

- In Charge of the Shift activities and carries out routine tests for Propylene, propylene oxide, Ethylene Oxide, Mono Propylene , Di Propylene, Tri Propylene Glycols, Polyols and by products.
- Analyses and prepares Quality Certificate for Mono Propylene Glycol Food and Flavour Grade and different grades of Polyols as per established test procedures.
