In my 32 years of life, I am no stranger to extreme conditions, hard work, and working amongst diverse groups of people.
I have work experience in various climates ranging from gill netting in Bristol Bay, Alaska to planting trees in the high desert climates of central Oregon in temperatures reaching 120' F. I have also spent months at a time performing stocking surveys and forest inventory on my own in the mountains of Oregon. Stocking surveys and inventory is counting and identifying trees.
For the past ten years, I have framed custom homes out of conventional lumber, logs, timbers, steel and concrete. I have been a general contractor for the last seven years. Through this, not only have I learned the importance of leadership but more importantly, the value of teamwork. I believe that by creating and sharing good techniques you make hard work easier.
I am very enthusiastic about a future with Cascade General and hope to become a dependable and loyal member of your team.

1991 - 1992 Quicksilver contracting Bend, OR Tree Planter and forestry worker. Worked in all climates auguring thousands of holes for trees to be planted in, also performed stocking surveys and inventory.
1992 - 1995 Arete Construction Bend, OR
Framer, while at Arete I evolved from $8/hr laborer to $25/hr foreman. Running crews from 6 to 12 men, constructed custom homes from the ground up.
1997 - 1998 Jim Naylor Bristol Bay, AK
Fisherman, Deckhand and Mechanic. I took off one month out of the year to help out a friend and for fun.
1995 - Present A-Barr Construction Co. Portland, OR Owner/General Contractor Builder of high-end custom homes. I'm getting out of the business to become a mechanical engineer

To search for an exact phrase, just put quotation marks around two or more words, for example "mining engineer".
