Nature of Work Done:
a) Conversant in all routine accounting functions like processing of sale invoices, payment vouchers, handling cash/bank transactions, data entries in General Ledger, preparation of payroll etc.
b) Can prepare statement up to finalization.
c) Can look after complete bank operations and prepare monthly and periodical bank reconciliation statement.
d) Preparing monthly receivables and payables list with aging analysis if necessary. Sending statement of accounts to all debtors every month and obtain their confirmation periodically and difference if any noticed will be rectified immediately. For payables statement of account will be obtained from the suppliers once in three months and check whether our book balances are in accordance with their balance.
e) In the previous overseas assignment in Saudi Arabia our company have four branches in Alkhobar, Riyadh, Dammam and Jubail and I was handling material and funds transfers within the branches + consolidation of branch accounts in the books of head office.
f) Conversant in import costing procedures. For every shipment, a seperate receiving report will be made with unit cost in local currency for each item.
g) Fluent in all import formalities like opening L/C's with bank, L/C amendments, collecting freight quotations from some shipping agents to have a competitive rate and choose the best agent to bring the shipment from the load port to the port of discharge for F.O.B. imports.
h) Posses good experience in stock handling, stock verifications and stock valuations.
i) Capable of handling entire office correspondence individually.
j) Have sufficient knowledge in Windows / Word / Excel etc.
k) Attended many internal audits in many big companies out of which some are listed below for your reference.
