06th April, 1994 - 01st June, 2004: Worked as Procurement Officer in Procurement Dept. and Tendering Dept. with (M/s. Saudi Wiemer & Trachte Ltd. Riyadh) (Saudi - German Joint Venture)
Job involved - Correspondence with suppliers and subcontractors. Input of tender Bill of Quantities in the company's standard calculation format. Verification of Tender Documents after receiving to bid from Client/Consultant, preparation of packages to obtain quotations from various suppliers/sub-contractors for Civil, Architectural, Conveying System & Electro-Mechanical Works. Follow-up with suppliers to get the quotation for tender submission. Negotiation with subcontractors to provide adequate technical support with regard to their proposal and prices. Preparation of Sub-contract documents. Finalization of Purchase Orders. Process of Vendor Invoices as per PO prices and delivery note. Co-ordination with Project Management. ensuring the materials are supplied to schedule, quality and budget. Instructing the team members for the daily activities of procurement.Preparation of Price Comparison mainly for Electro-Mechanical subcontract quotations. After signing contract by the company preparing ARBEITs calculation for the purpose of project execution. Preparation of Monthly Invoices. Well acquainted with Construction Industry suppliers in Saudi Arabia for Eastern, Central and Western Region.

Procurement Incharge at their site consisting of major infrastructure works located in Aziziah - Halfmoon in Eastern Province. Work involved to get quotation as per specification of various materials in the Construction Industry. Preferred dealing with suppliers to provide material on Credit Basis. Negotiation with the suppliers to get reasonable prices. Preparation of purchase orders for the building materials as per site requirements and procurement. Preparation of suppliers Subcontract Agreement. Co-ordination with Project Management and expediting with supplier to ensure timely delivery of the material. Process of Vendor Invoices as per PO prices and delivery note. Instructing the team members for the daily activities of procurement.
11th Dec. 2005 to till date:Working with M/s. SAFARI Co. Ltd.. as Procurement Incharge at their King Abdul Aziz Naval Base Jubail site, Refurbishment of Berth Project.
Responsibilities include to obtain quotations from Overseas/Local and preparation of price comparisons, supplier selection, procurement activities i.e., liaison with project execution /management team and expediting with supplier to ensure timely delivery of the material according to the material specifications and required time, preparing sub-contract documents with relevant legalities. Process vendors invoices as per PO price and delivery note. Major material finalized were the supply for Black Steel Pipes assorted sizes Grade B, 8" Marine Loading Arm, 3 x 150mm² Submarine Cables, Power Supply Cables (assorted sizes), Fire Pumps, Water Pumps, Gate & Check Valves, RTR Pipes etc.
